combat end game dps question?Follow

#1 Sep 25 2007 at 6:10 AM Rating: Decent
im a mutilate rogue atm but im switching to combat swords soon seing as my guild is in kara so no comments on the mutilate build. But i have a question
have any of you rogues ever thought about putting the 1 point in improved evis into improved poisens in raids i only use evis on bosses when there down or below 10% seeing as SnD wont reach its full duration so wouldent 3 points in imp poisens add more dps then 3 points in imp evis. heres the build i made

http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=fbe0oxhZGcV0rVzxMGot

im not considering the dps i do on trash mobs if imp evis would do more damage then imp poisens seeing as trash mobs die really fast.

plz comment on build :)

P.S rouges name is Shakex if u really wanna c my armory

Murder over Imp Evis imo. Everything else looks ok.

On another note. Mutilate is a perfectly fine build for Kara - Mag(41/20/0, not anything else).

I think I used a 3/5 or 2/5 Imp. Poisons build sometime with 4/5 Deadened Nerves back in the MONSTER CLEAVE days, it was alright if the raid didn't have the usual number of Warlocks and SPriests.

The problem is that the only poison it really benefits is Deadly Poison since chances are now that you have WFury and the raid's debuff slots are limited. But if you are Mutilate, then yes, max out Imp P or drop 3 points in both Imp and Vile.

And yeah, don't Evis, trash DPS is kind of pointless, if your guild can't clear the trash in any given raid dungeon, then you don't deserve to be in the raid dungeon.
