Confused about my +spell damage statFollow

Hello guys. Here is a link to my character on the armory, Please take a look at him because I'm kinda confused about something:

If you look at his Bonus Damage stats, it says that my "fire damage increases my pet's attack". Maybe I'm mistaken, but I thought that shadow-damage was the +spell stat that would increase a warlock pet's atk?

Can someone please let me know if I'm wrong in thought, or if something is wrong with my character.

if you have no specific highier stat it defaults to saying fire.
