I ran that instance at least a dozen times in 3 days with a friend. On the third day we where on the last run of the night and it had taken way way too long, it was 4 AM and i was runnin on fumes as was my friend. well we get to murmur finally after 2 and a half hours (I was already mad it was taking so long) we off him after 2 tries and OMG it drops! I was so excited i didnt even realize i was outrolled. I look in my bags and am like WTF and one person said the pally outrolled me. All he said was "Im respeccing ret to raid soon and need it too"

OMG did i flip out like a madman half awake and the only thing i even needed from that instance is now in the hands of a freakin pally. Thankfully i was tired and just logged out and didnt run to the trade channel and go off there too because as mad as i was i probably would have.

So since then i have not been back to that awful instance and am now just going to wait it out until i get a legacy.

What a pleasure it was to sell it to a vendor today :). I have allways hated the look on Ss, so it was sooo nice finally to replace it with some dualwielding felsteel longblades with 20 agi on each, thats 110,4 agi (with talent in sv) on weaponslots.

Shelved my Sonic Spear after Legacy dropped last night. Keeping it around for +hit gear, if needed.

it took me...20...horrible...runs...WITH PuG's!!

I did another Shadow Labs run today with a group where the only person who would have been remotely interested in a Sonic Spear would have been me...if I didn't already have one. I was there strictly for the rep (hit Revered! Yay!!) and what should Murmur happen to drop?

Another Sonic Spear.

Since both blue drops from Murmur weren't needed by anyone in the party, we did the one roll, two highest rolls get the shards deal. I was the second highest roll, so I sharded the shammy chest piece and gave that to the highest roller.

And now I have another Sonic Spear sitting in the bank. Why? So I can say I have 2 Sonic Spears. I'll probably shard it eventually, along with all of the other level 70 blues I have sitting around for appearances/sentimental value.

No you can do it some levels earlier.
We did shadow labs while leveling to 70 (I believe we where one 67, 2-3 68 and 1-2 69 when we did the instance for the 1st time; cleared it in about 3-4 hours *g*).
However the instance is quite hard if most are not 70 and I would not go with a PUG where not everyone is 70.
We did the instance with two level 68 DDs a month or two ago. But since the rest was in at least Karazhan level gear it was a rather simple and fast run.

I want the SS so bad. I'm sick of the way Terrok's Quill looks, and I only wear that while in town, because I HATE the way the Crystalforged Waraxe looks. But the SS is so sexy. It's all blue and icy and pretty.

It's a double pain that there aren't any other boss drops for hunters there.
