..is a pain in the ***. My priest and I dominate all other ones except for this one. Me and a priest. Any ideas how to fight setups such as lock/lock, lock/priest, lock/druid on this one?

be more specific, like what your problem tends to be

im guessing its a kiting issue, but how they are usually doing it would help :D

your priest should have a good time at blades edge. pets should barely be on him, and he should have enough time near you to keep you up with prom and renew and shield + the occasional flash heal.

one trick i see a lot of people use on BE is to run to the middle of the bridge, jump off, and then run the opposite direction the pets run. you can make sort of a big figure 8 this way and really minimize the amount of time the pet is on you or in LoS to devour/spell lock.

Lock/lock should be easy for you.

Lock/priest is a bit trickier, get your priest friend to help you kill the other priest and blind the lock. You should be fine.

Lock/druid is the same concept but with one big change: save your blind for the eventual cyclone the druid will get off on your priest. Kick it if you can, but if he manages to cyclone your priest friend blind his lock partner.

You really shouldn't have trouble with the class combos you described, as they're all fairly soft targets for a rogue.

Our big enemies in 2v2 are Paladins, Warriors and Frost Mages. I have a real tough time with dealing with those.

With a priest, paladins are pretty much the easiest class ever.

Especially a shadow priest, though holy/disc is usually better.

Mana burn is an anti-pally spell, and if your priest can't get a Mass Dispel off, he sucks.

BTW, the druid is usually going to be cycloning/rooting you, not your priest. They don't care what your priest does since he will probably have a felpuppy on him the entire match unless your priest actually knows how to move.

My priest just hit 70 like 1 week ago and his gear pretty much sucks. By the time the pally's mana is gone, their dps has already killed my priest >_>.

Well, with the gear your priest has (I'm assuming that you're talking about Shadowp), telling him to get greens "of Stamina" wouldn't be a bad idea, because his gear is just awful. Tell him to get used to playing AV, since he's going to need a solid 2 week's worth in order to have half-way decent gear, and that's getting at least 5k honor per day.

He should look at basically every possible upgrade that can boost his Stam, because frankly, his healing gear sucks. Get him through the Karazhan quests to get his Violet Badge, since his trinkets suck. Get him to do AV with a passion, saving up either for this season's gear or next season's honor epics.

Do not let him buy HWL or S1 honor gear until he has every single honor reward but those.

The healing trinket scales with +healing gear, so get him to start PvEing. 1000 healing is a reasonable expectation from a healing priest in arena.

Also, it may help if all of his +healing wasn't from damage gear.

Basically, you have a long, long road ahead before that priest can help you get into the 1700+ range.

That's not even considering that he's going to have to learn how to LoS, kite, etc.

Ah oh well, he's a good friend doesn't matter much to me as long as we're having fun.

wrong imo... 2 piece blue set is nice to have for cheap resil gear... should get him near 65-75 resil and a bunch of slots for 9 stam gems

It's better to gear for the next season, since he's probably new to arena and use this sseason as a learning season.
