I’m in a habit of mousing over pets to see what people have named them. I’ve seen stupid names. I’ve seen imaginative names. I’ve seen names that have made me smile. But this weekend I saw the first name that made me laugh out loud. I doubt anyone else will find this nearly as amusing as I did. I have a feeling its one of those things where you just had to be there and be in the right mood. But for whatever reason I burst out laughing.
The hunter had the lovely white lion from the horde quest in the Barrens.

I deleted my 20 hunter and rerolled it. Name: Schrödinger. Guess what kind of pet I have? :P

Had I thought about it sooner I could have named a hunter Pavlov and had a wolf for a main pet. I expect the name is taken by now.
If I'll ever roll a hunter I'll find a server where I can name my charecter Mowgli and search through the whole map to find a grey bear if I have to. Then I will just name it Baloo and never abandon him.

I saw a Hunter the other day that had a scorpid named Kitty
Saw a pet once named "Imwithstupid". The Hunters name was "Metoo".

Humar the Pridelord is in fact a Black Lion, with the exact same model as the White Lion. Complete oppositely colored Twins.

i guess i'm one of the few people that really dislikes 'funny' names, mostly because its rare to see one that actually is funny.
I do like the white humar though, but its the only funny name here that made me smile.

Personally im not to fond of silly names for pets, but if the owner likes it its fine with me, My pet is called Darkgaze (KIng B) with my hunter being called Ravenflight.

Mainly I like to match up pet names and have even created toons for the sole purpose of haveing a pet match the hunter...For example my 29 twink hunter Thegrinch has the rare spawn Clutch mother from dark shore named CindyLouWho and a saber named StealingXmas just for fun.
My 19 hunter is named Partyonwayne with his pet named Partyongarth
My Draenei hunter is Knicknack and his pet is Paddywhack..spelling may be off slightly.
My nephew got the rare spawn purple hyena from the barrens and named it prplpeopleater spelling is off I know...but still cracked me up.
My main has 3 pets all named for my love of Gnome Hunting!
