ok.Since i like world pvp alot i went to and searched for boots that had

slightly incresed running speed. and i came up with this Defiler's Lamellar

Greaves. Then i saw the stats were better than any boots before 40.My question

is should i go to arathi until i get these boots or is there any good boots out

there.I dont want to spend too much gold though. My second question is can

anybody tell me what armor i should be using till level 70,and the range level

for each item would be help full.My third question, i came up with this talent

build http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/paladin/talents.html?0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000523005102033125000000

then switch to prot and have a build like this till 70

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/paladin/talents.html?5550000050000000000005005133500201520215010000000000000000000000

i just made this without research. This is what im looking fo in the prot build.Able to aoe grind really good and have the potencial to do world pvp ok.

also links would be perferred

Do you want us to log onto your char and play him till you get to 70 too?

Really though, the reason you haven't gotten any responses is that you are asking for a TON of info.

Do us all a favor and do the research, look at the FAQ that's what it's there for. And while it doesn't tell you exactly what armor to get when and where, it does have useful info.

Since your first question is easy enough and doesn't require hours of compiling data in Alla, go ahead and do arathi to get the boots if you want to spend the time and effort to do so. If you don't then don't. It's that simple.

get the boots, they're worth it

the armor you'll be using depends on spec and playstyle

Capjack, you don't get to be a jaded grump until you are 2,000+ posts!

That being said farming the boots out of AB is a massive waste of time at lvl 40, no matter how horrible you are at world pvp. If you really are so poor that you need the speed increase (especially at lvl 40) then you are one of the few cases where I recommend you spec Pursuit of Justice. It is just as fast as the boots.

In terms of gear, keep it plate, keep it up to date. Don't spend copious amounts of time or gold on it since you are going to level out of it in a week.

Your ret build is ok, for you I'd recommend taking points out of Eye for an Eye and into PoJ. Relying on spell crits for small damage returns is a good waste of points while leveling. Your prot build is horrible. You won't be able to tank past a regular 5 man and you won't be able to heal past one either. Hell you won't even be able to tank/heal 5 mans all that well.

I think this was the part that got me the most, I don't mean to be unhelpful but come on. Range levels and which items you want for every item up until 70? With links?

And yeah, that end-game tanking build is pretty bad, if you want some advice on good tanking builds, again consult the FAQ.

How are the boots a waste?
If you like to pvp then its time well spent. Plus, they are the best boots you can get at that level.

The talent points are too valuable to waste on PoJ. If you don't want to waste a day doing BGs then spend the gold for the speed enchant

Now the level 30 mail is a waste, but the level 40 plate is awesome. I used the bracers until the 50s. You can farm the honor in a weekend of BGs for the 40 plate. The 40 plate offers some of the best upgrades available until the late 40s.

The boots are a waste because he only wants them thinking they will somehow be a cure to his world PvP woes as he gets to 70.

It is not like he is going to be a twink.

Is taking a week off to farm the boots in AB worth it just so you level out of them in a week? Effort put in vs Value gained = *****. Simple theorycraft right there.

Oh I see now, I skipped the OP. I can't read Double spaces very well, makes me remember High School.

Yeah I had the PvP gear for a while, the boots, the bracers, and a couple other pieces that escape me right now. It was great while it lasted.

It really boils down to if you enjoy PvP or not, I did at those levels so I PvPd some to get what I wanted then moved on.

i neaver asked if i knew the answer, i thought people would give me a good answer by viewing why i would choose those boots.

I guess the only question i want now is a link to a rets build to level 35 and a prot build from 35 to 70. then a hold build at 70.

And Capjack ill take a look at the faq again.Sorry for any problems i might have caused.

I was being sarcastic, alluding to the fact that you were asking for so much info for your entire Paladin career, it might as well just be easier to logon to your account and play your char for you.

I have leveled 2 paladins from 1 to max level (1-60 pre-TBC, 1-70 post-TBC) I have a good idea on gear to get for specific slots. If you were asking for weapons or chest armor or whatever, I would have helped you. However, you were asking for items for every single slot and every single level range, thats a bit much tbh.

In page 2 of the FAQ it goes over gear choice in general terms. It doesn't mention specific items, but it does go over it depending on your build.

I also go over talent builds such as end-game tanking builds. I ALSO mention leveling builds.

Look, I'm sorry that I blew up at you, and I would help you if you were asking questions that I felt haven't already been covered in the FAQ. But they are covered in the FAQ. It just bugged me a bit that I spent a lot of time on that FAQ which covers or answers almost all of your questions, and now you are telling me that you read it and you're asking questions that are covered there.

Oh please stop replying to this. The OP clearly has done nothing, let me rephrase that, absolutely nothing before posting this. It is even right there in the post. Therefore: /ignore, /close subject /move on.
