I've been healing with my druid for awhile now and my guild is about to start kara. I've gotten a lot of pre-kara gear and so far I have about +1000 healing. However when I was in an instance the only heals I used where my HoTs and my highest rank of HT. Recently I was taught to start using some lower rank HTs because they are faster.
I decided to try using HT 1, the fastest HT. It heals for somewhere between 49-90 (not too positive though, its around there). I thought my +1000 healing would change that 90 into 1090. It didn't. Infact it only increased it by like 20 points of health.
So can anyone explain how +healing works?

QFT. According to allakhazam, when you click on the healing thing on the item in the link, it says: FLAT multiplier.
