I havent downloaded Theo's file (because of resolution issues) but I did installed mods recommendad by Theo.

Thing I miss is that now when I click a coordinate in Light-headed, tomtom will give me an arrow but the waypoint isnt marked in the map anymore.

Anyone know what mod is responsible for placing the way point on the map?

WOW, this is great Theo. I had made my own UI from your earlier screenshots and addon list. I liked the look of it but the integration between the addons was not even close to this.

Even better, your package cut my memory usage by 60%.... likely most of that was auctioneer but still

GREAT job.

Anyone have a tip for my question 2 post above this?

I still have another issue, since Ive installed the mods Theo recommended in his OP I dont get the roll window (Need/Greed/Pass).

I expect this is something I can modify in Pitbull but I cant find it, can someone point me into the right direction.

EDIT: Found it apperantly its an option in Bongo's. Ill have to look at it when I get home.

IM not the expert but that looks like a HUD mod (metaHud or something). So if you can erase it it most be in the HUD mod.

If you installed all of the mods that Theo has in his pack, then you will want to access XLoot.

I hope you backed up your interface and WTF folders, like Mazzle had suggested, because restoring your back-ups would be the easiest way to remove those panels.

I don't remember which addon it was that made those panels, so you may want to try disabling your addons one by one to figure out which is the offending addon.

For hiding key/bags, you will want something like Bongos. That will hide the various Bliz bars.

The "fatality" sound is through your error grabber. I think it is either Swatter or BugSack. Look to see if you have either one of those on, and disabling it will stop that sound.

If you are hearing that sound constantly, it means that there are errors being kicked back from the game, which means you are going to want to make sure all of your addons are updated.

Pretty sure I've said before that you need to update Pitbull once you download the UI.
#161 Oct 31 2007 at 9:14 PM Rating: Decent
yeah sorry about that i thought i replaced the pitbull folder but i guess not...i gotta rename all the folders and everything now :\

i wish i could just copy paste the pitbull folder with all the other folders inside it...itd be so much easier

Love your UI thread, mate- rate up!

I haven't used eePanels or Bagnon before, but I have used similar mods to the others you mention.

Instead of Pitbull, I use X-Perl UnitFrames. I stopped using SimpleMiniMap since Bongos provides pretty much the same function- letting me centre my map on the screen. I use Koordinatorfor coordinates, as it's more configurable (and I have trouble seeing the smm coords), although I know Bongos doesn't let you scale it down. Instead of Elkano's BuffBars, I use Morganti's buffbars as they're more compact, and I like their look. I'll have to put up a SS later.

Another mod I use now, which you may not like because of the space it takes up, is MobInfo2. It keeps a database of the mobs you fight, and shows the information when you mouseover them.

I have recently revamped my UI and are currently using and enjoying Bongos and Xperl. Now 1 issue that I can't get my head around is this:

With Blizz original UI, the buffs would show on top-right, with timers ticking in them (pretty sure of that atleast) so that I would know how long a fear would last before free. Now with Xperl I have my buffs/debuffs over my player-window and no timers ticking. Am missing them and have no clue how to get it working. Do I need anothe add-on for it?

Grateful for answer

Have been working on a new UI. Personally, I prefer Bartender3 over Bongos however this is a setting up preference rather than visual. They both look the same. Attempt at stylized Ui. Mind you, I have a rather small resolution, so I tried my best to work with what I had. Hopefully new screen by Christmas. Also, been having issues with Cycircled and haven't checked if it has been updated.

hey theo
i don't know if you're even still keeping up with this post but,
i'm pretty new to interface customization and actually allakhazam
too, so was hoping you could help me out

from what i can see in your screen shots it looks like you
have cooldowns being monitored in the top right hand corner
what specific addon is this? looks very clean and basically
i want it lol

i would like to send you link to a screen shot
of my current setup, but frankly i'm not quite sure how to
still nub to forums ^_^

edit:
i previously said cooldowns ha
i meant buffs/debuffs*

another quick question as well,
while using clearfont2 what specific font are you using?
looks very sleek! haha i guess i'm trying to be just like you..

I was using Myriad I think at the time I made this post; I'm using TwCenMT now, with Bazooka for SCT/Pitbull/etc.

The buff addon is Elkano's BuffBars.

Downloaded the mods on my own, which worked out nicely.
A few issues with Pitbull though..

How do you change the size of the uniframes in Pitbull?
And how, oh how do you split the party unitframes?

edit: I knew it was a great idea to post here.

Sorted everything out on the next try.

Looking good...

Those are all basic UI functions.

Right click on the tab and select the unlock option. This will allow you to move the chat pane.

By disengage, if you mean separate, then you will need to unlock the combat pane and then drag the tab to where you want it.

IIRC, this pack was set for a 1440x900 (or 16**x10**) resolution monitor. You may want to try shrinking your UI to 0.64 This might move a lot of the stuff off screen on for you.

If not, you have all the building blocks to set everything up yourself. Experiment.

I'm curious, have you ever discussed your key binding strategy (theo or anyone else)? I'm working on a rogue and I'm always interested in how other people bind their keys, as it's led me to much more efficient play for my other toons.

check the FAQ. There is a link on keybinding in there.

Also, there was a post in the general WoW forum about key bindings a few days ago.
