Recently I have asked a few questions on my tanking spec I have been doing OK with the advice that I have got from all of you. Thanks for that.
But I have looked around on WowJutsu.com at alot of the higher ranking guilds the have downed all the high end bosses and all the pallys seem to be holy. So if I really want to see and be a viable part of endgame stuff do I need to spec holy?

You dont need to, but holy is definately the strongest talent tree for us (Like druids IMO)
You should be fine getting into an endgame guild as prot, but I dunno about Ret. My guild doesnt have any of those o.0

You'll have an easier time if you respec holy. Prot pallies are not unheard of in final end-game content, however they are few and far between.
