Otherwise I guess you can run the instances in your range. That would be the most fun and you will get item upgrades.

Really, why not quest?

Level six . . . that's what, half an hour of playing? An hour? It seems a little early for you to be dropping quests and starting the big grind.

If you want to level fast do every quest that you can while killing everything on the way.

And another trick to leveling fast is to run spellcheck on everything you write before posting on a forum. Seriously. People will pay more attention to you.

Don't stop questing. Seriously. Those early quests are really important. There are many reasons (i.e. learning to play the game, learning social skills,...) but the two main ones are experience and rep. Have you ever checked out the reputation rewards for the early quests? They're HUGE. At your level, getting the 10% off is incredibly easy to do because of the quests, and it's important at your present as well as later (for your mounts....MUCH later...).

The other thing is- those quests are easy and they get you used to moving. You're going to have to travel all over the freakin' planet for some quests. You really thing traveling from Northshire to Goldshire is bad? Try the first time you try to get the Booty Bay flight path. Enjoy it.

Lastly- kill everything on the way to your quests and on the way to get other quest. This isn't "grinding" perse, but it'll help you get all the XP you can without wasting time.

...please also call all of your english teachers up and tell them how little you've retained of their information. If they aren't crying by the time they've tried to read this post there is something wrong with them.
