Hi
Any update about me questions above?
Also will be better for lock, is it critical hit or more magic spells, if I will use one of these build above?

43/7/11 suits my playstyle best, you can easily get on top of raid dmg-meter
as well es the added life and imp. imp you do well in pvp another thing making this build great for pvp is the reduced chance to disrupt your channeling and the instant HoT. I like this build alot since its is really versatile and you can do exceedingly well in both pve and pvp, and by pve i do not mean raids exclusivly, but heroics and farming as well.

i just had a quick look at 44/0/17, which as i see it is rather bad due to the following reasons:

You lack alot of +spellhit if you haven´t got at leas 3 points spend in surpression, even though your SB is from destru-tree you DoT´s have to hit or you will lose a hellofalot dps.

Alot of your DPS will come from DoT´s where i miss imp. drain soul maxed out.
A warlock is a heavy dps class with few ways of reducing aggro and once you go that deep into affliction imp. drain soul is a must.

Missing out a full +15% life hurts alot, without spending any points for imp. imp nor imp. HS you can hurt the raid/yourself quiet abit.

amp. curse and CoE are pure pvp talents in my opinion those points are spend elsewhere better, i think.

what i really like about the build, even though i love shadowburn is the fact that you !careful wordplay! reach destructive reach in the destru-tree both reducing your aggro and increasing the reach which means alot on some encounters.

which leads me, myself and I again to the conclusion that 43/7/11 is a more "allround" round build.

This build is a little unconventional, but it works pretty well for pvp and instances (I use it for raiding too, but that's not what you'd be using it for). Imo instant HoT is crucial for pvp, not only for another instant fear, but it's AoE and extremely helpful against rogues so you don't have to turn around.

The point of it is to get most of the benefits of the Affliction tree as well as Ruin, which helps ALOT in PvE.

I can see several lock that using these build 0/21/40 or 0/14/44.

Are these build will do more DPS comparing 43/7/11 ?

These builds are indeed the best for DPS. In end-game raiding they cannot be beat, if you have 25% Crit rate from gear alone. Unless you have the 25% Crit rate though, a UA build will always out-DPS these builds.

I am interested in this as well. I am a 24 Warlock, and would like to know specifically what order to spend the points. Not all 60+ points, but early on should I be dumping every point into the Affliction tree first then top off the rest?

I think scorp is asking the same question as I am.

Thanks.

What I did personally, using a build very similar to that, was jst go down Affliction first. Once I was done with that, I went for Demonic Embrace, then picked up the Destro stuff.
