Lv 70 UI/Button LayoutsFollow

#1 Sep 04 2007 at 6:05 PM Rating: Good
Hey guys, I've always used different mod layouts on all my characters and always try to be original as possible. However after doing it for so long, i've been trying to cut down to a more basic setup while still remaining effective. Paladin has alot of things it can do, so it's hard for me to fit them all in the right button layout and Ui layout and still get my job done without killing too many people. I'm really interested in seeing what you guys have come up with for your layouts, be it very very simple and basic, or very cluttered and busy. Maybe it could be fun :D

This is my old priest one before I switched to Xperl:

I can't find my favorite setup I had for my hunter ; ; and as soon as I clean my pallys up I'll post that.

That small three-bar set-up was enough for you? I usually end up with four or five bars on-screen simultaneously.

I've never used anything but the default UI, and I just try to group my icons smartly. For example, on a Paladin I'll keep all my healing spells together in one bar, all my tanking spells in the one below. DPS'ing bars were irrelevant, my tank bar was used for that too (Protection). Etc...

at the priests level it only needed the 2 bars, but i always put 4 stacked from the top of the black down, i think they are invisible there. I think by lv 40 the priest had about all 4 bars filled lol. My hunter had the same, 4 main bars in the middle of the black area, I also ended up putting the minimap in there and its where chatlogs are, was very clean mostly.

Here's mine: http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=66c56s2

I use Trinity Bars Beta, which allows each button bar to go to a whole new palette by pressing shift/alt/ctrl. I also macro my spells, and use Clique for healing.

I got my setup right now with the default UI. My right bars have the blessings and greater blessings next to them at the top. At the bottom I have my seals, in the middle I have my tanking sword and shield linked and my 2-handed mace linked.

My number scheme is as follows

 1     2     3      4      5    6    7    8    9   0      -       =
HS Judging Judge Primary HoJ Conc FoL Taunt BoP Holy Divine Avenger's
   Seal seal (max) Macro Light Shield Shield

I've done a 2 -> 3 -> 4 thing for seal judge seal ever since the beta.

Above that I have the rest of my spells, my professions, potion links/hs links/drinking links. I hate to look through my bags or my spellbook for anything.

I really like my setup, depending on the role im playing I can switch out seals real quick since I have them all on my right bars. Just drag it over if I want to judge it or use it as my primary seal, and put the old one back on the shelf.
