I've been looking at my armory page and checking out the "Find an Upgrade" buttons. I got to the back slot, and since I'm still sporting my lvl 40 Cape o' the Monkey (at lvl 63) I thought there would be a plethora of options to choose from.

You know how many potential upgrades popped up?

Zero.

There isn't a single cape built for hunters after level 40? This is breaking my brain. What are you guys wearing these days?

There are in fact several upgrades. If you are still sporting that cape, you haven't done much in the way of Outlands quests. In Hellfire Peninsula I can recall two capes. One is a boss drop, and another is an instance questreward if I recall correctly. And then it is a steady run up to 70, where you have a few options available to you. Just keep an eye on the AH, and once you are into heavily farming Heroic badges, there is another vendor option in Shattrah.

Tons of back upgrades, pre raids.

Correct me if im wrong here, but isnt there a nice cape from the Trampoline guy in Nagrand? That quest where you have to land in the nest then fight the Big Bird. Ill try and dig out the exact quest.

This one,, http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?wquest=10111
The Delicate Green Poncho looks decent enough, quest attainable at 64,,,

Consortium Cloak of the Quick is fairly nice too.

That can be achieved at your level from a quest given by the bandaged electrical storm in man form guy (Wind Trader Lathrai) in the Lower City of Shatt City. Pretty easy quest too, especially for a hunter.

Thanks all, I'll have to chase one of those down.

@North, I've avoided Hellfire as much as possible. Somehow I took an instant dislike to that place and have spent the last three levels or so in Zangermarsh. I've only gone back for specific quests if I wanted the reward, and with the Armory not popping anything up, I didn't know.

Plus, I live in Texas, play on an oceanic server, and belong to a social guild that has held all of two official instance runs since I joined it in February. So my opportunities for completing instance quests are few and far between.

I have this cape.. it is nice but totally hidden by the characters hair... you don't even see it. So, I guess you don't have to worry about getting sucked into jet engines... LOL!
