ranged form = skunk (poison gas spray)
or monkey (**** flinging like at the zoo)
or spitting cobra / venom-spitting spider
or for something really wild and probably too difficult to implement, a hornet's nest, with individual hornets acting as the ranged damage device.

I like the viper/snake idea. It's been seen before in the Wailing Caverns. I also like the ranged and aoe ideas. Perhaps druids could be given viper form that has the options of spitting venom from a distance for +nature damage and an aoe poison cloud that is a dot? Then there would be the serpent strike which basically is an instant attack on an individual. They would use the energy system I guess....either that or mana.

I dont think its been said but it seems like a cool idea to have a CC spec. Not sure if that means a new form though. Maybe just give resto two basic specc/form options similar to feral so that our new tree form can use roots inside and do some sort of aoe thorn type of damage or something. A CC/aoe spec could be pretty cool.
A new form should basically be something that can shoot stuff even if out of mana(Like hunters). I think it should be a hedgehog form or something (it could through it's needles?). On a side note:

Baring in mind that in the first expansion the new form had to do with the new mechanics/theme of the game (everyone should be able to ride a flying mount in Outlands so the new druid form was a flying beast) I think the same thing is very likely to happen in the second expansion. So what's the second expansion all about? Ice... Well... I don't think that is the big hit for the new expansion. What Blizz seems to show off with most enthusiasm is the building-interactive battles with siege machines.
So I dare say that a new form could be a large beast (a mamoth or something) that is rrreally slow and has rrrrealy slow attack speed but can cause significant damage to buildings.

I really like the idea of being able to change the way the feral forms look. The one thing i really dont like about the class is that all feral druids look the same. Be they male, female, or any of the three forms (bear, dire bear, cat, even the travel forms.)
I would love to be able to have a slight blue white coloring on my cat, kinda like Shy Rotam. Or a scarred, runed look to my bear form, maybe redish brown. the flight/travel forms not that big a deal, but the cat and bear forms could use some changes. And as my toon is a female, it would be great to have a noticeable difference, however slight it might be.

Perhaps a new 51 point feral talent: Hybrid forms
It would allow you to transform into 2 different humanoid forms with bear-like or cat-like characteristics (think along the lines of worgen)
These 2 forms would give nerfed-down the benefits of Bear and Cat seperately (such as only 300% armor bonus and 15% Stmaina bonus for Hybrid bear), and allow access to form abilities, but also allow some minor spells (Maybe Cyclone, Moonfire, and Roots. no healing though)as well as the ability to use potions/first aid and other items.

I am ALL for a Dragon-form. There would be nothing cooler than transforming into a dragon, and having fire spitting spells and clawing type moves as well.
God am I the only one who doesn't want dragon form to be introduced? Sure, an emerald dragon would make sense for druids, but what would it bring into the game that we can't already do? Being able to cast and melee without shifting forms? Just roll a different class, Blizz isn't gonna give druids forms to be like every single class in the game.
I would REALLY love to customize the forms, it would be soo cool :D

I also dont like that no matter your lvl, gear, gender etc. all catforms look the EXACT same :/ I´d like it to show a little about the druid, for example what gear the kitty is wearing, just a slight hint, could be awesome! :D
