hmm,

shark form would be cool, especially if you had an underwater stealth

maybe an dire cat form?, that looks like a ferocious flesh hungry saber tooth tiger.
also bigger then our current cat...oh yeah
maybe a new dragon form, at the end of the balance tree, one that focuses completly on AOE(but has almost no single target spells, to keep moonkin popular)

We are to do with nature ie we have animal forms and a tree form, but that only goes a little way into the whole nature side of things. They gave us Cyclone control of wind and roots could be the earth bit so maybe going into this a bit more, Some form of Fire control and water control allowing us to be one with nature not just bits of it.

Knowing the way Blizz give us talents we will have the "curse of the sun spell" wich does no damage but gives people a damn good suntan. Or the "curse of the twin cycle" which spurts water at a target causing their clothes to shrink over time causing due to stranglation.

actually it's shammies who are the ones who are the storm/earth/fire/rain guys

druids are all treehugging which means no water or fire

I don't see what's wrong with the dragon, or at least aspects of green dragons, (emerald dream and all). Not sure what the hell it would do that we can't already do though.

Fire breathing Aoe. Maybe this form (takes a talent point to get) also includes the "normal res" or maybe fore demolishing those new "destructable buildings"

Maybe only atainable if you have epic flight form, thru a series of quests.

Still, Dragon form would be the bomb.

First, I would like Blizzard to give us an option to personalise our forms. We could become a polar bear and frost sabre, or a reddish bear and a cat-form similar to that of the lynx, or yellow-ish bears and lions. An option to show a difference between males and females characters would be great.

Second thing I want is larger forms. We should be able to see our Dire Bears. The normal bear sprite sucks for Dire Bears. Any bear from lvl 30+ is larger than our form. It's creepy to think of my character as a meat shield when there is much less meat compared to normal mobs. LOL

Third, we should get a new travel form. It is nice to shapeshift and go instead of using a mount. It could replace lvl 40, lvl 60 and on. Of course we would have to pay for it but that would be well worth it.

Fourth, they could let us get a predatory form as a prize for going all the way down the Feral tree. Nightsabre, Raptor, Dire Wolf, something that's larger than the normal cat-form would be really nice. I myself would love to get a Swift Mistsaber form =D

Well, if they don't like the idea of a real predator's form, they could make us a were-form ^^. Weretigers, werelions, wereraptors, werebears... Anything like that ^^

Well I'm not exactly an expert on Driuds (or wow for that mattter) but it seems to me that as far as general roles of a group in mmos we're missing only two roles. Buffers and Debuffers. So I thought it might be cool if we get something like the pally's auras and buffs or the warlock's debuffs. Maybe even a form that does both? I'm not sure what the form could look like though.

Interesting thought about the Were-forms. I was always a fan of the Diablo II druid, but the WoW druid has caught my heart too.

One thing that immediately comes to mind is that this would (should) allow Feral druid to use items in their forms since they would be humanoid. Maybe a minor stats boost beyond what the bear/cat forms normally grant while in that form as well (and possibly weapon use like Moonkin, however, that could be bad seeing as most Ferals have ignored their weapon skills :) ).

Its an interesting idea, just not sure how it'd be implemented.

And...Dragonform FTW.

I can't believe no one here has suggested that instead of giving us a new form, they fix Tree of Life to actually be useful.

Beyond that, I doubt we'll be seeing any brand new original forms. I mean, think about it. It's just ten more levels. Moonkin and Tree Form could be introduced easily enough because they already used existing Druid spells. And look how many spells and/or attacks are already usable in Cat, Bear, Moonkin, and Tree Form. For them to introduce a completely original form they'd have to think up at least a dozen new, unique skills to give it.

Giving a new form to the Feral tree would be pretty pointless as well. You already have Cat for physical damage dealing and Bear for tanking. There's really nothing else for a melee to do.

Furbolg or owlkin form! I've always wanted them to be a race oneday, but if i can turn into one with a druid or tame one with a hunter then its cool with me.

I am thinking that a snake form would be a possibility (WC anyone?) Perhaps it will have AoE attacks as said above? I have to say that the quillboar idea was also awsome, the prospect of ranged DPS without mana on a non-huntard confounds me. Or the generic dragon form with aireal attacks to kill other players on flying mounts :P (now I'm dreaming)

Great idea. Make us quest to unlock different colored forms perhaps? And the tauren cat form can take off the horns of the current one for females and make the males into lions with a big grizzly mane of hair?

i dont need a new melee form, however a dire cat form would be kickass.

make it look like some big dangerous ferocious sabre tooth frost tiger.
and, make the looks of dire bear form more impressive, maybe a bigger pole-bear

Some sort of Imp Moonkin form would be nice, dunno what extras it'd have though.

Since we're going to Icecrown, maybe some ice related form? *shrug* A new Travel form would be nice, but it would make druids even more OP'd in WSG when it comes to flag running. I don't have a problem with it, but the other classes will ;)

I dont know if its been said, havnt bothered to check all the comments... but I think a Feral Cat Form would be nice. You know like what Dire Bear Form does for druid tanking Feral Cat Form can give a boost to str, attack power, and maybe something else.

The were-bear/cat/whatever idea is pretty bad imo. Being a lesser rogue which can be sapped and polyed doesn't really appeal to me.

Hence: ranged physical damage. Dire Porcupine.

Yeah Porcupine form sounds pretty good. But where would it go? Feral Combat? They should update the abilities in the Feral Tree then. Like Mangle would still be the same attack for Cat/Bear forms but it would also add an ability for Porcupine form.

If they don't give us a new new form, mabye they can implement a timer independent rez in the restoration tree?

GOD YES!

However, for a new form...

Well, I really liked the Dire Catform idea. A new end talent in Feral, allowing you to get a more powerful Catform. Perhaps slowing your attacks just a little, but increasing the damage per attack accordingly. Instant casts are still instant casts, and get an x% damage boost if you have Dire Catform. The look itself would be larger in general, and more... hulking than the normal catform.

Insect Form.
That is all.

I'd like to be able to personalize the models somewhat, especially bear and cat. I'd like to see battle scars, tattoos, different fur colors and styles - things like that (It may even convince me to roll a tauren as I don't particularly care for the cruddy yellow fur their cats get - it just doesn't seem 'stealthy'). Honestly, how often are balance and feral druids in 'caster' form? If Wrath is going to offer character personalization beyond what's already available, why not in the areas where it's going to be most commonly seen by the player? After all, (s)he spends a good chunk of his/her time looking at a shapeshifted form as a druid.

I'd like to be able to go beyond simple cosmetic changes - for example take how you run in bearform. I'd like to be able to give my bear a noticeable limp as he favors one of his front legs from years of battle as it may have been broken or even shattered on more than one occasion. I'd like to give my cat bloodstained and worn tusks (horns for you tauren druids) from years of digging them into enemies - as well as seeing his claws retract when not in battle. Moonkins could have ruffled, muddy and missing feathers that could glow or have some kind of effect (shimmer, sparkle, etc) from the residue off of their magical abilities when used at close range.
