"Your Corruption, Curse of Agony, Siphon Life and Seed of Corruption spells also cause the Shadow Embrace effect, which reduces physical damage caused by 5%."

I have some questions about this tallent! hunter dmg is physical too? If I put both corruption and agony it will reduce 10% or 5% ?? this tallent really worth 5points? thx for helping me

Its not, put 1/5 in it and use your other 4 points somewhere more usefull, then again i am not a pvp maniac so perhaps it has use in that segment of the game.

Oh and it doesnt stack per corr, coa, etc. Either one of those will activate shadow embrace and thats that. 5% reduction. And i do believe arrows are physical damage.

it's worth 5/5 in 2 situations.
1. raiding
2. going 27/34/0 for pvp. soul-link a voidwalker with demon armour up and having shadow embracfe on the melee class hitting you and to them it's like beating on a tank. you take a rediculously low amount of damage, so making it worth while for arena (2v2 and 3v3)

Its worth putting 1 point into because it counts as a magical debuff, meaning if you also have the talent Soul Siphon: Increases the amount drained by your Drain Life and Drain Mana spells by an additional 5% for each Affliction effect on the target, up to a maximum of 60% additional effect.
This counts as an affliction effect, so its 1 point for an extra 5%.

Hey Jeno, that's an interesting looking build/strategy.

Which curse works best w/ that, CoA?

Have you had any success with it? I have a lock on the PTR - I should see if I can make that build work.

I've outlasted full SSC/TK equiped rogues and warriors with that spec using CoA, cor, siphon and drain life. as I said. they describe it as beating on a tank that can heal itself ^^(i have a MASSIVE 50ish resiliance and 10k hp. imagine if i was in merciless gear ^^). generally though you'll have your felhound out with that spec, but if you know you've vs melee's then it's definately worth switching to a voidy due to the immence damage reduction.

Oh right! I forgot that about VW's!

Okay, you got me. I'm definitely going to give it a test drive in the ptr!

Thx Jenova!
