Im deciding between elemental and enhacement. I've tried them both and my kill rate/mana usage seems to be pretty similar. i do have to heal a bit more with enhancement. anyway im looking for opinions on which to choose.

when i hit outlands i went elemental but really i think it just matters which spec u have the best gear for and which u enjoy playing the most, lvling in OL was probably my funnest time while playing so if i was u i wouldn't try to rush it i would go with the spec u like and see most everything OL has to offer cause even when i was resto for a little bit i still found it quit easy to lvl which SOO much stuff to do.
but if u already have a main and seen everything i would go enhance cause tends to be less down time and faster kills if u have the right gear

There tends to be more elemental loot from outlands quests than enhancement loot while levelling. I went ele, and found loot to be abundant.
Well I speced 1/2 enchane - 1/2 resto.
I do good amounts of damage w/o using that much mana. I use my totems and do really good dps that way.
Although Zysac said he got more Elemental loot I have had the exact opposite. All of the good rewards from quests have been + attack bonus and strength buff. Same as the loot drops. Both the weapons I have right now have been + attack bonuses too. Right now most of my gear I have got from quest rewards and all of them have been +attack bonus on them.
Guess they are lucky because I have been sweatin tryin to find items that would help me boost up my intellect. I even broke down and bought a ring in the AH because with all the new gear I lost a lot of my intellect.

My shaman is level 61 at the moment, and I just switched to elemental. My only problem seems to be that the mob gets to me quickly, and shamans have no CC (earthbind...frost shock...are you kidding, Blizzard?). Mail armor doesn't mitigate damage as well as a good ol' frost nova/blink can (i.e. mages don't get hit).
What do you experienced elemental shamans do with mobs so that you can keep on casting while they wail on you? When I group-quest there's no problem; but solo it's slower.
