Shadow PowerFollow

Hello everyone,
Well I have noticed in some videos I have watched on warcraftmovies.com most of the shadow priests give up the 5/5 shadow power to go 3/3 absolution and 2/2 mana burn. Is this choice mainly due to there gear? and not truly needing the 15% or is it just the better pvp choice at 70?

I can't imagine ever giving up 15% increase in damage for PvE. Any of the higher levels confirm this?

Mana Burn is really good in arenas, and Absolution is a better way of getting the needed points than Meditation. However, I'm not sure I'd give up *all* my points in Shadow Power to get it - maybe a few, but not all.

If all they do is pvp, perhaps they don't want to waste the 5 points on a talent that isn't as useful for pvp as it is for pve. Against teams with a lot of resilience rating on their gear, the talent becomes less effective. The gear will reduce the chance of a critical strike, and also reduce the amount of dmg a crit does. Perhaps the utility of the other talents outweighs the slightly increased crit damage they would get against the really good teams?
