I am currently re-rolling an UD Priest and want to be a shadow priest as I level, still not sure about endgame. This is my first priest and want a solid build to help me level, mostly in groups, but also to do decent in PvP. I am re-rolling with a new "re-rolling guild" so I will probably be in groups with people I know most of the time. Any advice appreciated, considering I have no idea what I am going to do lol.

There is already a thread about this that may interest you. It is called 70 Shadow Build. That build is the one I will be using and it already has been critiqued by others.
I wasn't looking for something I could use at level 70, I was more looking for something to get me to 70 for leveling in groups/a little PvP. Thanks anyway though!
Well, leveling and raiding builds have only a few differences. In raiding you take 5/5 Shadow Focus and 3/3 Shadow Affinity, whereas leveling you can get by with no Affinity and 3/5 focus. Other than that, you could put more points into ImpScream and Silence if you feel like it, but it doesn't make a huge difference unless you're really into PvP (and the same is true of Blackout). With both leveling and raiding, you want to pick up as many +dmg% and mana efficiency boosters as you can, and with both builds you want 14 points into Disc (for Inner Focus/Meditation).

The build I referred to in my previous post is the build I am using to get to level 70. And yes, with an experienced player Shadow Priests rock in PvP. At least I do =).
Spriests are good pre-60, though rogues and hunters from what I remember are a pain, and of course any twink. Sixty-70 they're pretty good as well, and start scaling a lot better due to all the +dmg. At 70, they're not the best, but also not the worst. Best I've been able to find as an spriest is 2v2 with a warlock.
