What do you guys think about a flurry axe with crusader on a prot pally? Is it worth dropping 200g on or should i stick with my Changuk Smasher?
While the axe is very nice, I don't think it's worth putting out that kind of money on a single piece of equipment until you are well into outlands. Unless you are twinking of course.
Well im not twinking but am going to do alot of BGs at 49. My main reason for thinking about buying it was for the hate generation from it while in groups and for grinding. The money really isnt a big deal but if its not worth it i'd rather have the gold lol.
I'm ok with the price if it would last me until i got to outland. I know the white damage on it wouldnt be that great 50+ but if yellow damage scales with me i'm not really concerned with the white damage. Is there anything 50-58 that i would want to replace flurry axe with?

i think i spent 300g on my flurry axe(s)... the first one disappeared from my mailbox during a wow break :*(
i went with the axe going for the soc 1.07 attack speed, with +4 damage chant, +8 damage sharpening stone, and +8 damage gift of arthas pot proc.
you're talking +20 damage per swing there, at a 1.07 swing speed, or roughly equivalent to 261 ap from the chants and consumables.
it was pretty amazing at 42, i went to the axe and sm shield from the bonebiter and my dps went up a lot.... but like i said i came in here to qq about getting smashed by a druid last night in world pvp....
come to think of it... i've only just started playing this pally after a year at 43, that whole fight was pretty much about me getting my sealegs back. i'm totally accustomed to pvping with a sloooow 2h and jousting with a warr. it's a whole 'nother ballgame keeping someone in your sights every 1.07 secs vs. 3.6 secs.

Did you ask for help? I once had a chestplate disapear from my mail and Blizz restored it for me.
Go with a cheaper enchant like Fiery. Also if you know an enchanter who will disenchant for you see if you can accumulate the mats yourself to save money.
Just as a side-note:
You will not generate much hate/threat with SotC (Crusader). You're better off judging it and using SoR.
