Any other druids use Decursive 2.0? Can I get a hand configuring it?

I only use the alert functions, the visual reference that "Soandso is poisoned/cursed". This has always helped me keep track and make determinations. I've loved it, and don't mind the removal of the auto-click feature very much at all. At least, I didn't until I stopped using the beta, and started using the release version of 2.0.

The final release has developed a MOST annoying feature relating to poison. I can only see someone who is effected by poison when I mouse over their portrait/box in CT_RA. As soon as I move off it, the effect disappears from the Decursive list. In the Kara fight Moroes, Moroes (being a rogue) puts a blind effect on the tank. This is very, very bad, and needs to be removed immediately. Decursive 2.0 was new (bad choice on my part, update add-ons and go into an event without testing) so I really thought the effect was falling off, or the shaman was removing it. Nope. We wiped, I felt terrible.

If this weren't bad enough, poison does another thing. For reasons I do not know, hunters and their pets kept showing up as being effected by serpent sting. Again, the effect would disappear when I moved off their name. However, having learned from Moroes, I De-poisoned anyway, and the effect went away when I moused over them. The problem? They were never poisoned in the first place.

I'm frustrated and annoyed. Curse effects show up clearly and distinctly and do not have these problems. I did NO custom configuration when I had the beta. As I said, I just want it to tell me when someone is effected. I'll click on them myself. This core feature, really the only thing I want Decursive to do, and I can't trust it.

Bleh.

I use Decursive as well. Right now I make use of it mostly on my Pally but I still keep it on my Druid.

I haven't had that kind of problem you're talking about so far, but I couldn't say if I have the exact same version.

What I would suggest, however, is that you simply keep using an older version. If memory serves, Curse will let you download the past few versions so you might find one amongst those that work the way you want. Hopefully it won't cause issues with the whole out-of-date thing. >_>

I don't use decursive at all. I have my click-casting mod "KLIK" set up so that shift-leftclick = decurse and shift-rightclick = abolish poison. That and they way the CTRA unit frames change colour when someone is cursed or poisoned means I can be quick with de-cursing.
