Can we please get some good LW changes?Follow

OK, so I know people like Caldone have some pretty crazy epic LW recipe stuff like Boots of the Crimson Hawk. My gripe is that LW seems rather useless aside from some crazy patterns that only drop for the extreme high end raiding guilds. (Grats again Caldone)

For example, tailors can craft items that are better than T4 stuff from a freaking trainer! On top of that, they can craft ridiculous BOE stuff if one isn't lucky enough to get a rare pattern. I know we can get the ebon netherscale stuff, but tbh, for SV hunters its pure ***** as it boosts very little to any agility on it. So my question/gripe to you is that are any of you hunters that are LW as frustrated as I am about this? I know.....QFT, you whiner...blah blah..but its just hard for me to hang on to LW thinking about the money made in other proffessions and/or the lack of nice epic stuff without a high end raiding guild. Also, my server's economy is also horrible for skinning, as a 375 skinner wont make jack compared to a 375 miner/herbalist. :(

Well, let me be harsh here. Why are you having a hard time holding on to leatherworking, when the ebon netherscale gear is SO MUCH BETTER THAN WHAT YOU HAVE?

It's going to be upgrades for your gear, the way, presumably, your helm was an upgrade over what you had before.

The ebon netherscale stuff is nice...if you're not SV. I have a few of the 365 BOE patterns, none of which I use, but with all the heroics our guild runs, I have enough nether to craft stuff for other people, and nether fee usually floats around 75g, so it's really not that bad. If you can't use it personally, but you spent all that friggin time leveling it, might as well use it for some profit. There's some nights I'll just sit around and watch the trade channel for people wanting the cleft/cobra hide leg armor made, I usually hop on it right away, so their mats+a few min of my time=10g tip...usually get 1/2 dozen people with requests, so it's easy money. It is still upsetting though that tailors can make purples at 350, yet we have to wait til 365, but the way I see it, is someone's gotta be gimped, lol.

Ebon better?!!! HA, Seroster, you obviously do not know SV spec or you would not make such an ignorant statement. You need max agility on SV to be worth a crap. Sorry, but the ebon is trash for SV hunters. Please do not make such a blanketed statement merely because of a color of item(s). Ebon is trash for SV, pure and simple. Yes it is pretty nice for MM and BM, but garbage for SV.

Also Durfus, I agree that you can make some money if you watch the trade channel, but tbh, I have 3 children and do not have that much free time on my hands, so I do as much possible as I can when I do get a break from all the chaos.

My point is that tailoring for cloth wearers and BS for plate, is just so much more beneficial to the non hard core raiders. Why not try to boost some of the LW recipes to a non-uber end game instances or maybe trainable?
