I have recently turned protection and would like some opinion in regards to the following:-

1)I have managed to aquire 7 out of 8 furies card and have been told that i have waisted my time getting these as the blessing cards are better for a prot paladin. Is that true?

2)Would a prot paladin be better in holding agro if he/she had these 2 trinklets equipt? Or are there better trinklets for a prot paladin.

Personally I'd go with the Furies one, it gives a bunch of Stamina + the chance at some extra Holy damage. Blessings is nice and all, but no Stamina on that one. If you can get both, don't see why you shouldn't, but if you just want one, go with Furies.

Yea there's some pretty good trinkets out there for Prot Palys. Basically anything that a Prot Warrior would use: Dabiri's Enigma, Figurine of the Colossus, etc.. I'd list more, but I gotta go to work soon :)

If anything, I'd say the deck of Blessings is a waste of time. You don't really tank through white damage so more attack power is useless. As for the spell damage part of the trinket, I'm not sure if it triggers on Consecration and Holy Shield so I dunno. Could be nice if it did but lack of Stam is meh.

Furies, on the other hand, is very nice. Tons of Stam and a Retro Aura-like proc which should make for decent additional threat.

another good trinket is the essence of eranikus (i think thats the spelling) which you get from a quest completed by killing eranikus' shade in the sunken temple. It does 50 damage every 5 seconds for 45 seconds to all enemies within 8 yards or so. only thing is it has a 15 minute cooldown.

Also, i have an outlands trinket from some 58ish quest that gives me 16% extra dodge for 10 seconds, only 2 minute cooldown. with that, redoubt, holy shield, and my dodge/block/parry percentages, i have about a 99% chance not to be hit for 10 seconds...really helps in a bind :)
