Best warrior BG bracket?Follow

Well, I'm kinda new to warriors, but was wondering, I made a warrior, not very high at all, and I am planning to BG alot with him...
And I wanted to know, what is the best Battleground bracket for a young warrior? I'm currently aiming for 29 to get AB, but, should I go higher than that? Y'know, to get the 'best' skills a warrior can get?

P.S. My build is going to be Arms, unless I should respec...?

EDIT: I also wanted to know, at say, the 19 bracket, should I go sword and board or 2h? And should I go Dual Wield at 29, or stay with 2h or sword and board?

If you want the 'best' skills a warrior can get, maybe you should try going to level 70, after all, that is where all the best skills are. If you want a good lowbie BG, I would have stuck with 19, but 29 isn't bad either. I never really saw any reason to twink my characters as its the easy way out and you don't learn the class to its max potentional at all.

I would stick to everything under 49.

29 and 39 is good I for warriors I reckon.

At 49, the casters just get WAY too nasty.

Locks get Soulfire and can get up to +400-500 fire/spelldamage (!!). They also happen to get Deathcoil at 42 and affliction locks has iHoT (improved howl of terror - instant AoE fear). Locks are at their strongest here, and only get more powerful from that point on.

The insane damage modifiers applies for mages too.

Priests get Shadowform and +spell/shadow items becomes a lot more availible after lvl 40 generally.

Warriors get plate and mortal strike though, which is a nice thing. But honestly, I would stick to either 29 or 39 since casters are way more powerful at 49 than 39.

At 30 you get intercept and deathwish (if fury) to deal with the pesky fears.

That's just my two cents though.

I played 39 and 49 extensively and liked 49 the best. Though shadow priests were bad:( BGs are not a one on one fight and I had no problem staying in the top third on the leader board and even less problem helping my team win and have fun. Though if you think like PigeonMan BGs tend to be less fun since you are always one of the weaker players and you don't get to play long before you have tons of honor/marks and nothing to spend it on or you are starting to twink... (I personally think that PigeonMan's opinion is kind rude and insulting)

Thanks for your help, another thing I wanted to know is, What classes do I avoid fighting as much as I can? And who do I go for first?

Personally I always just jump who ever I see, yes I am a berserker:) But shadow priests and warlocks are nasty. Rogues, Pallys, and Druids I didn't find too bad at 49.

IMO, these are the classes you should go for (ranked by which you should attack first) and the classes you should stay away from (ranked by which class you should avoid the most).

Go for:

1. Rogues - their dodge procs our overpower (which if specced correctly in your arms talent tree, is essentially a free crit). Over the 29 bracket (when twinked rogues are the norm), they're the butter to our knife [exceptions can occur at lvl 70, but are rare].

2. Warriors - they have the same moves as you, so they can't pull anything you don't already do; very gear-dependent, if you trust your gear, you shouldn't have a problem.

3. Druid - druids can do great dps, but they're usually better off in 1v1 fights; if you can attack them in a group, most druid players will get confused and you'll have an easy time pounding on them.

4. Shammy - shammies can do great dps, but they're usually better off when they have time to pop totems; if you attack them on the move, you have a good chance of killing them.

Avoid:

1. Hunters - a good hunter can easily kite while doing constant dps, it's very hard to get into attack range; you also have to be careful of charge/intercept, as it's a direct line to them (easy for them to lay traps). Really only possible after you have all stances and a lot of experience with stance-changes/ rage spending.

2. Ice Mages - their aoe freeze has the same cd as your intercept, but they also have blink. Best to wait until after they've popped aoe freeze, then attack; try to stay behind them (jump over them at close range).

3. Warlocks - Depending on how good your fear-resist capabilities are; they can also cast while you're behind them. Hit them hard and fast, make sure you're popping that anti-fear rage (also use shout to fear minion); stay away from 42+.

4. Pally - possible if you have good burst damage, but in a 1v1, it's very difficult. We don't have any healing until later on with second wind, so in any balanced fight, the pally will probably win. Possible to kill them at higher levels (40+).

5. Priest - rage starvation and instant fear; don't attack unless you have people helping you, because it'll be a waste of your time.

Really? Wow. That is the almost opposite of what I was thinking... Thanks.

On another note, my main's a frost mage, thanks for the tip! =P
I would also really like to know whether to use a 2h, dual wield, or sword and board... That's my main problem...

2h is generally preferable for PvP. However, keep a shield in your inventory, so you can switch to defensive stance and reflect spells. My favourite part was when I reflected a trinketed POM pyro in a guildies face during a duel. Tbh, he should've noticed. Not many warriors go for Bloodrage the first thing they do. Ah well... shame to get beat by a prot warrior, really.

To Teragoth, I'm glad you think my post was rude and insulting. I was merely trying to shed the light on the fact that twinking out a character or simply stopping at X9 of any bracket really doesn't give you any inkling on how to play any given class. The lower the levels, the less options you have therefore its not that complex, yet. The OP stated that he/she wanted to know the best bracket to BG that gives the warriors best skills, and in my opinion that is level 70. Why? Because that is where the fun and best skills are. So I don't think my post was rude or insulting as I was just being brutally honest. =)

Thanks for your help everyone, but is Arms a viable build for PvP or should I go fury?
Sorry for the 20-questions, I am new to warriors and therefore know nothing of them, and I am a very unsure person who changes his mind alot... =\

I have a 49 arms warrior and I thing that the 49 bracket is my favorite so far. MS is great to have because it reduces any healing going on when fighting in groups. Also, I always prefer attacking Locks and mages over other classes because of the simple fact that I can two hit them if i get a couple crits w/ my first hit and MS (although i avoid priests like the plague).

Well on review it does seem I was being a bit emo. Sorry:) I just found that stopping and getting the cool PvP stuff really helped on my PvP server since I got ganked a lot less, right after leveling to 50 I got jumped by a 54 Warlock who was awful shocked when he jumped me and I turned and hosed him, made my day right there. Also I had a lot of fun and learned a lot about playing my character. I really think we should all try to play the way we want to, and the reality of a game this big is some parts are not for everyone. I don't expect to ever see the inside of the Black Temple for example.
