I've looked at the warlock main guide but I still have a question.

Mostly on gear balance at the mid levels (50's)

I got some +shadow damage about +120 and with "of eagle" stuff,
I'm getting some +89 sta, and +72 int.

Since it has been answered before but way back in 2005 being the last post.

And since I hate necro posting, just wondering if it's still true now.
Should I just drop the +shadow gear I got for +sta/int still?

Will I suddenly see my drain lifes go from 99/103 to 55 dmg a sec?
And is that worth it for say an extra 800 or so hp's?

Yes, I like to do alot of PVP, yes I like to solo grind for exp.
No, I don't do instances much if at all. I am on a RP server. I'm up to 4045 honor and 2779 kills already and I'm still just 49 :P (and no, I'm not twinking at 49, going to keep leveling)

My Priority on gear

1. +Sta / +Spell Dam
2. +Shadow
3. +Int

Sta is king, always has been, and +Spell Dam helps all my spells, not just Shadow, even though Shadow is what I cast mostly, I do use Immolate in my spell rotation, and I use Searing Pain in PvP since it's a quick cast. +Shadow takes a very close second to those, since the majority of my spells are Shadow. +Int just fills in gaps in my gear. If I can find anything better, or the +Int comes along with the others I take it.

Take all this with a grain of salt, because warlocks are not really gear dependant. I've never once gone out of my way to look for extra gear, just what I've found along the way, or cheap at the AH, and it was always enough, even in BGs. Besides, your only 9 levels away from the Outlands, once you get there, your gonna replace everything you have on very quickly anyway.
