I was thinking the Hourglass and Abacus, but im not sure what is better, 260 haste or 278ap???

Yeah, go with the Abacus and the Hourglass.
Simplified: Swing faster(increased haste)=More crit chances in a shorter time span=Better chance for the Hourglass to go off=More attack power.

Abacus and the Bloodlust Brooch. Bloodlust Brooch is pretty amazing, and while Hourglass is _very good_, the Abacus is better.

Can someone else tell me what they would choose? Is there a program that will track how often something procs. I feel the hourglass doesn't proc that often, but I could just be missing it. As a combat sword spec my crit is only like 22% so I was thinking of getting the brooch when I get the badges.
the hourglass looks good for a crit build(pvp). using a backstab daggers build would actually help out the proc rate at least until you collect the trinkets for the consistant higher dps rate from the brooch. for raids and instances, in the long run constant dps is more valued than inconsistent crits. however a good balance of crit rate and dps will work well. it's your personal preference how you build up your character so enjoy. personally I"ll run instances for both drop gear least until I get enough tokens from heroics for the trinket (unless I'm upgrading something else ^_^)
the way my character is setup (combat fist-sword hybrid) the abacus gives a 6.6 dps bonus over the hourglass.
