Quick question about speccing combat fists.

The 5%extra crit chance, does it apply to each fist weapon (10% for dual wielding fists) or is it just a flat 5% for having a fist weapon equipped?

If you have a fist weapon equipped, does the extra 5% apply to all attacks, or just those utilizing the fist weapon? (In the event that I would have a sword and a fist equipped)

Hit 70 about a week ago and switched from mutilate back to combat swords and was curious to try out a couple more builds. Speccing fist should put me around 23% crit, which I like.

edited for clarity.

It works identical to Dagger specialization, in that it increases your chance to crit with said weapon in BOTH hands. It's essentially another Malice. You would be doing yourself a favor by dual weilding fist weapons, that way you can take advantage of the extra 5% crit chance on your white attacks from the offhand. Whatever your base crit percentage is, say 21%, apllies to both hands, always. The only talents that are specific to the main hand are Imp backstab and Imp Ambush.

Just so I understand correctly.

Hypothetically, if I specced fists, but had a main hand sword and an off hand fist, The sword swings would receive the +5% crit bonus as well.

Before the "noobcake" comments start flying, I have no intention of using a sword and a fist weapon, just curious as to the exact nature of the talent.

Way I have always read, is it applies to Fist weapons.

You sat you are around 18% crit. Assuming you DW Fist, that would put your MH crit at 23% crit and OH at 23%.

Now if you MH fist, OH *insert here*, you will be 23% MH, 18% OH.

*insert here* MH, OH fist, you get 18% MH(Yellow attacks now 18%), and 23% OH.

The talent applies to Fist weapons.
