So my only 3 active characters right now are druids (yes, I do need 3 feral druids, why do you ask?). I am the druidiest. I love druids almost as much as my beagle.

Last night 4 of my family/rl friends rolled new characters to play only when we're together, so we can do group quests and instances and level at the same rate. These characters will only be played grouped, will never have to level solo. I drew the role of healer. So what did I do?

I rolled a priest.

Bad druid!

But I'll be the only healer in the group. Having a viable res seemed too important.

Stupid?

Well, you will be pampering your group by helping to rezz them every single time someone dies, but you would help by lowing a bit of the time in instances...
By the way, just my opinion, but I would have rolled a Pally instead, Crusader aura when you guys are together would help much... And the other auras too...

Or... you could always make your friends roll to make a Shadow Priest, Prot Pally or Ele/Enh Shaman, all of them still got rezzs.... And you get to keep your Druid!

Oh you're hurting me. I went back and forth pally/priest trying to decide for way longer than a person needs to be thinking about hypothetical WoW characters, reading forums etc. to see what was recommended. And just when I decided and rolled my priest and got up to the grand level of no less than six, you go throwing it all into question again.

Grrrr.

Conundrum conundrum.

ETA: Sorry for straying OT for the druid forum here.

In my opinion, Endgame single-target healing, absolutely nothing beats a holy pallie.

Plus, you're still able to dps as well.

However, I do believe if the current main activities are levelling from 1 and up, that you just may have an easier time finding decent healing gear for a priest.

however, a pallie CAN wear cloth as well, so perhaps that may be an advantage.

Lol, no prob! =)
And come on, Pally! Assuming you're on the Horde... Hot girls (yes, I KNOW they're pixels) in metal bras! Woot!

Just please don't get the female dwarf under ANY circumstance, by the way... Chose that once, had nightmares for a week...

We went Alliance so we can fund these from our other Alliance chars. Tough to make money when you're grouped all the time and Horde auctions are awfulawful on my server. I went with human cause we're leveling up to 15 on our own before getting together and I've done those starting areas so often I can solo to 15 in my sleep, even with a priest. So bottom line: I got the dumpy human butt, I'm way better off in a long cloth robe anyway. Macarena FTL.

If you're alliance, why didn't you choose the sexy female bootay-shakers? One can just hit numlock and watch them auto-run all day...

Well. I know you are all very keen to know how this all comes out. I'm sticking with the priest. Our tank decided to roll a pally, so <cue Monty Python voice> you see, we've already got one </end Monty Python voice>. That of course means he will have a res and I could just go with another druid, but as has been pointed out, a little diversification never hurt. Already 2 leather wearers in the party but as priest I'll have no competition for the cloth.

Sticking with the human too, cause I like horsies.

But I went to kill Princess tonight and grouped for it with a druid who'd just gotten her bear form. Made me shed a tear, it did.

cool story.

I play all 9 classes regularly. I'm definately a traitor. Technically a hunter is my main, but I consider that a kiddie class and don't play him much. If they raid undercity or ogrimar I'll defend. I like pvp'ing with him even if I'm not very good. He's my only 70, but has crappy gear.

Druid is probably my favourite, but I love rogues. sometimes when stealthing behind someone with my druid I think about pickpocketing lol. I have talents to improve stealth, and whoah I can just walk right in front of people if they are a few levels lower than me. I get in that bad habit and do it with my rogue and trouble starts lol. as my rogue is combat not subtlety.

Anyways why be a cheesy kiddie hunter with a animal pet when you can be an animal. I love being an animal.

So close, and yet so far. It's "We've already got one, you see?"
