Odd (?) priest buildFollow

I don't claim to know much about Priests, or a good Priest build, or how much bonus healing you should aim for (I heard 1000 for non-heroic Black Morass, but that seems high...). But, after grouping with one particular Priest a few times, I thought "That's a pretty decent Priest. I wonder what his/her build looks like?" So I looked it up on the armory, and this was the build I found. I thought "WTF?", but then, as I thought more, I realized that the healing has been OK. True, we haven't done any heroics yet, but I did notice this Priest in Kara at one point...so, I guess I'm asking what you guys think of that build. If there is skill behind it, is it OK? What kind of utility is there? And I'm not asking because I even want to offer advice on a different build; it's just pure curiousity. I don't see much real utility in that build. So I'm asking the experts.

Yeah it looks like an odd BG build.

He has Holy Nova which is useless except in PvP for spotting stealthers. Then he has MindFlay which without any damage boosting talents is only useful for slowing flag cappers. No Imp Mana burn or pain suppression so I doubt this is a serious arena build. Like Wurms suggested, it looks more like a BG build but still seems like its just kind of a random splattering of talents.



Rightfully so, like I said its a pretty nonsensical spread of talents. He can probably heal instances and early KZ boss fights ok, he might even be able to heal all the way through KZ by chain potting if he has good KZ gear already. However, for most players they would start struggling after about Curator with that build. Gruuls or anything after KZ he can forget all together.

Unless BG's are how you spend the majority of your time steer clear of this type of build.
