I have started playing with my daughter and her partner and am playing a Priest. They play a Warrior and Mage. These characters are only played together and only the three of us form the group.
I am looking for suggestions for being the best healer possible for the group. What talents do you suggest I take and what order do you think they should be taken in? I have not been able to find any talent spec’s other than shadow that are broken down like this. I will not be doing any solo playing with this character.

I'd advise you to still go shadow, even if you plan on grouping with them. You will have plenty of healing power for the group when needed, and you can help to drop mobs faster by dealing damage. Have the option to do both well will make you feel like you are always contributing, not just waiting for them to take damage and then healing.
Alternatively, you can take the holy talents that increase damage, up to Surge of Light, and from disc tree up to Power Infusion. :D That will let you deal damage while also having better healing power (mainly from Divine Fury).
Here's my advice for progressing into a holy build:
2/2 healing focus
3/3 imp renew
5/5 divine fury
1/1 holy nova
4/5 holy specialization (+crit)
3/3 improved healing
2/2 holy reach
1/1 spirit of redemption
At this point you could continue spending points in holy to get the +heal talents. Alternatively, you may want to start working toward meditation:
Option 1:
4/5 spi guidance
5/5 spi healing
3/3 holy concentration
+1 spi guidance
+1 holy specialization
5/5 empowered healing
Option 2:
5/5 wand spec
5/5 silent resolve
3/3 meditation
1/1 inner focus
then go back to filling in holy (using Option 1)
This is the build that this progresses you toward. It's a common pve group/raid spec:

Ixidoria thank you (rate up)! I am in a similar position to the OP, rolling my first priest to the be only healer in a group of 4 characters that will only be played grouped together. I understand going the shadow/damage route as others have suggested but I've still decided to level up holy and focus on healing talents. This is hugely helpful.
