I'm looking for the best mage. I'll be PvPing a lot so I was thinking UD but I'd like other opinions too!

You could go along with the crowd and choose UD (WotF and Cannibalize are two great utilities).

Arcane Torrent for BE's is an ok thing... (Silences all enemies within 8 yards for 2 sec. In addition, you gain 5 + 1/Level Mana restored per Mana Tap charge currently affecting you - Instant - 2 min cooldown.) but a 2 second silence won't help that much.

Although, the female BE's are good looking.

Imo, I'd go UD.

BE is probably best, but I have 2 BE's, don't want another, so chose troll. I don't care for undead too much.

BE's do start with more int, so keep that in mind. But it won't be that significant after 30 or so levels.

human = perception: Activate to dramatically increase stealth detection - Lasts 20 sec

good thing to have when u heal the stealth sound in PvP server in STV

Diplomacy :10% bonus to faction point gain

gives a lot more faction point gain for quicker rep rewards.

the only reason i go troll instead of undead/BE on my characters is cause undead/BE are sooo over played, on most servers you can search each race, find about 50 UD and BE, about 30 orc, 20 tauren, but only like 8 trolls, sure you dont get alot out of your innates except -10-30% cast time, troll regeneration doesnt help much since you have that limitless supply of food, but its great to see a change once in a while



although since orcs are ugly as f*ck and look to big to be a caster(and rogue), im prolly gonna roll UD on my lock, prolly a troll rogue though, another cooldown always helps, and trinkets can similate wotf
