I'm Sick of my hunterFollow

#1 Aug 02 2007 at 7:42 AM Rating: Sub-Default
I chose a dwarf hunter as my first character and i'm just plain sick of him. At 51, i see no reason to get to 70 because all the dwarf hunter gear looks retarted end game. Also, i don't like to play him very much but i'm pissed because all my friends are already higher level than me and i don't want to have to level all the way up again.

how can you be sick of a hunter? They're awesome. Not to mention that if you know how to play them well you almost never die.

I would suggest making a hunter as a different race. Since you don't like the way that the dwarf's gear looks.

Your tale of woe and suffering is acknowledged. Your pain must be horrific. Your impotent rage at your own failure to choose a class you wanted to play must gnaw at your very soul. But beware of your anger, because it is a precious commodity. Instead of spending it here on the forums, bottle it up. Keep it inside until you meet others of your kind, and then wreak horrific vengeance upon them, for reminding you of your own pathetic plight.

Bah, who am I kidding? I take pleasure from other people's pain.
Enjoy whining about your choice of class, as I am enjoying your complaining.

I smell a troll. His character list shows a 62 NE hunter, as well... and not a 51.

Pluss, trolls (race) are good at sniffing out other trolls (n00bs).

To the OP, L2P and get a life, moron. :)

Actually Im in the same situation only my toon is level 70, names ladiras of eldre'thalas. I have gotten so fed up trying to get into guilds or groups to run instances that I need. Even now that hunters are much much better people still only tolerate hunters and hardly ever respond to my LFM xx instance. I am so sick of my hunter even though leveling him was much a pleasure I have almost totally abandoned him hes very sadly little more than a bank. Hell even pvp arena is hard since most arenas are so small its hard to get los much less kite people.

to the OP, however sick of your hunter you are, double that and that's how sick of your hunter everyone around you likely is.

have a great day!

I'm not sick of my hunter. I'm sick of other hunters though :). But they do seem to be a little better after 60.

But I'm just going to have to admit I'll never get to do any end game stuff. I was playing my hunter yesterday just to get gold from unfinished quests. I was frustrated I couldn't take down a 63 elite. Yet I can take down 67 and 68 elites. This particular one ignores my pet and charges/knockdown me. Despite the fact my pet has done thousdands of damage and I have done 0, I still can't lose aggro. It's just the way the mob is coded. ice trap didn't work as it just trapped one of his guards.

I need better gear. Any elite with over 25000 hp's is too much. My pet dies before I can bring it down. I'm using a ravager. Not as many hp's, but decent armor. I don't think using a bear would do much, as I'd be losing a lot of dps from my pet.

Anyways I still have quests in netherstorm, and I have yet to go to shadowmoon valley. I was saving up for an epic flight mount (didn't bother going for regular flight mount). But I may end up using the money for my other chars.

The thing about playing healing classes is I don't have to worry about not getting invites. :). So I enjoy my priest and paladin for that reason. But both are slow to level up compared to my hunter, shaman, and rogue.

I laughed at this... the best part of the OP was when he states, "hunter gear looks retarted..."

Umm... yea... Retarded would be the proper spelling, so who is "retarted" here?

I dunno, I guess Dwarves didn't look very "tarty" like to begin with so maybe they can be 're'-vamped to be "retarted"... made a tart once again. Makes definitional sense.

Perhaps the OP doesn't like the character because it keeps cross dressing in a tart-like fashion, thus I could understand the frustration. If I had a toon that kept cross dressing on me, I'd be pretty frustrated with the toon also.

This logic certainly explains the post better to me, even if the OP meant something different because if they did, well, I'm just tarded enough to not understand what the problem is here, especially in the light of the other registered characters.

Possible Troll here, no offense to the Horde Trolls, dey be cool mon.
