when I MC, I do not have the action bar to control the target... anyone has this problem?

No, maybe you have a ui mod messing it up, try disabling them and see if that cures the problem
If you are using a bar mod you might be hiding the pet control bar. I had this problem with my bar mod.
I went through this for a long time. There are a LOT of addons that have nothing to do with your action bars that can cause this issue. You could disable one by one and figure it out, but in the end, I gave up using the default Blizzard action bars and installed Bongos2. Now I always see the pet action bar, whether I am Mind Controlling, using Shadowfiend, or playing Chess in Karazhan.
i get this occasionally, too.
i haven't tried disabling addons because i can't recreate the problem. it doesn't happen often enough to matter (or i don't mind control often enough for it to matter to me).
i only use addons for the following: damage meter, coordinates, auctioneer, and ktm threat meter (nothing with button manipulations).

effectively, disabling all the UI and keeping only the ones provided by blizzard solve the problem... It is on my girlfriend computer that we encounter this problem... mine is fine. i will compare all the active UI and let know if I find the solution ;0)
