I'm bored at work...so if you read this thread, and you ask yourself..."Self, WTF is the matter with DominoEffect?"...now you know.

Also I'm a bit nutty sometimes anyway, so you never know what oddball idea might be sauntering thru my skull at any given moment...

But enough rambling...on to the question.

What if they took druids out of WoW...or if they didn't exist...

Which other existing character would you roll...

Many of you have alts...tell me why you chose that class as your alt.

I have no alts, and am torn between which class I'd play after my Druid is 70...

So what if you couldn't play a Druid...what other class would you/do you play??

I rolled a Pally and I'm happy with it. Trying to level another Druid because I miss them, but I don't have enough time to properly level and enhance two characters so I'm investing most of my time in my Pally.

I suppose if we were pre-BC and Horde had no Pally, I'd have tried a Shammy. Maybe a Rogue, I dunno. I tried a Warr once and got bored too fast. Druids were just perfect for me.

Rolled a Pally for uberhealing though.

I'll probably go Rogue, can't understand how ANYONE can live without the stealth ability...

Did actually start with the Rogue, but I didn't like how I could only DPS in groups...

Rogue is fun, but for a challenge I'd say warrior, just as hard if not harder to play well than a druid, you have a **** load of buttons to mash, different stances with different abilities, no healz, no vanish.

Warlock or Mage.
I've played both a little and really like the glass cannon playstyle.

I started a rogue because I got tired of being killed by them on the bg. He's 38 now, and 2nd only to my druid in play time. I agree with Bloodthunder, gotta have stealth. Guess I'm a sneaky sob at heart.

I rolled a hunter because I like pets in rl, and because I get kind of lonely solo questing. He's 41 now, but not getting played much.

I have a 26 mage that's fun to play, but I haven't been. Too busy with druid and rogue.

I'll be leveling a BE mage on my server (spirestone) once my druid is at 70.

I'm currently 47 and just entered the searing gorge

I prefer classes that can heal themselves,so my current favourites (sp?) are my pally and my priest :)

Yeah, our solo dps is sooooooooo bad, there's no way I took out the WC fanglords at 25 with no help (used all CDs each time, but did it nevertheless). </sarcasm>

l2p nub.

Edit: I misread this post, see below.

You're a bit edgy lately, Norellicus.
That coffee thing again? =/

I believe he meant that, when in a group, the only role he could fulfill is DPS.

Flame me if I'm wrong but that's how I understood it.

Ah, yes now that I read it again, that seems to be what he was saying, my apologies.

Not coffee; more like oboards. >.>;

I rolled several chars (warrior, lock, shaman, mage) but couldn't care enough to get them past lvl 15 or so, except the mage (I want to reach lvl 35 with this one since she's my tailor and [dis]enchanter).

Then I thought about why I didn't really like all these classes and same as Bloodthunder I realized that I simply can't live without stealth. It's boring boring booooooring for me to have to fight through piles and piles of mobs again and again when I could just stealth and finish a quest in 1/10th of the time it would have taken otherwise.

So I rolled a rogue, and I'm very happy with it. Some things come naturally to me since I've been spending so much time in cat form, but they also have a lot of nice tricks of their own. And I like the fact that I know I will easily find a spot in any instance I want to run because of sap + awesome dps. I also like to solo a lot and a rogue is perfect for that.

I dabbled with a lot of different classes before settling on my druid, and for a while I was really torn between my druid and my hunter, because I love having a pet. I ended up getting annoyed by how dime-a-dozen hunters are though, and into my 30's felt like the druid really comes into its own and now I just really love the class. But I'll probably level up the hunter somewhere down the line.

Other than that, I may go back to a rogue at some point for fun, because I really enjoy all the kitty aspects of my druid. But that's the tough thing about alts once you've come to really love playing druid: most of the other classes feel like druid-without-options.

Hi im new to this forum but hope i can benefit u all the same way u all benefited me.

I currently have a 70 male tauren feral druid. I started making another druid ( yes another one) simply because i love druids abd i tried every single class (till lvl 15) but never liked them.

So try out another druid (even though some ppl will think they will get bored of this class) but believe me try it out.

My druid is female tauren HYBRID...U may ask y hybrid or whats hybrid?
Simple is just that i used every talent point in the feral tree but stopping right after HoTW, continuing then with points left to go straight to resto tree and take on NS and stopping at swiftmend. Any points left from there gonna put them somewhere in the balance tree.

Here u go, Hybrid, imo less damage then feral spec and balance but hey i got more survivability than any other "Pure" spec and i can truly say i will become a 100% more druid than any other.

All in all, pursuing hybrid spec is truly a hard thing to do because now u have to concentrate on all stats stam, intell e.t.c

Thank you :)

*Creates lvl 1 druid. I believe I am as much druid as any other druid in the game regardless of talents.

Oh, yes. It says "Druid" on my character sheet.

Now, to the point. I currently have a few high level characters. Warlock, fun but really easy. Hunter, same as warlock. Mage, fun, high dps output. Paladin, can really take a beating.

I dont know... a new class? I'd have to say a shaman, since that'd be the only class I never levelled above 40.
