So what would be a good engineering specialty for a frost mage? Goblin has more explosives while gnomish has gadgets, if i remember correctly.

I can see the gnomish net-o-matic being very useful, but also the goblin rocket launcher in later levels would help a lot too.

Thoughts?

I say go for goblin. some of the gnomish gadgets and gizmos are required leather to wear... sucks for you:) As a mage, when your out of mana, goblin engineering allows you to have an emergency ******** frost grenade awesome for ice mage, btw >.o

Frost grenade -> lance = ouch :(.

frost grenade -> lance -> frost nova -> lance :) ofcourse taking into consideration one lance might not break the frozen affect.
