Yeah, you're right. I'm being used by someone who hates how disgusting low the standards of intelligence have become today.
#8REDACTED, Posted: Jul 25 2007 at 2:33 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) That does not make any sense. Speak proper English.

Anyways, you should pick up tailoring for sure. The stuff you can make at later levels (Frozen Shadoweave especially) is something that is irreplaceble beyond T5 and T6 stuff. If you have a main that can provide you with funds, I'd say go for BOTH engineering AND tailoring. My own lock (lvl 48) is using the same combo and I'm loving it so far. But it's expensive to level both, so unless you get the money, I'd say go tailoring + gathering.

You can always drop the gathering profession later and powerlevel engineering when if you wish.

Good luck!

Yeah, I think your IM-speak throws some people off. I have to admit that it was kind of tough to get through your original post and I did laugh at the reply, but anyway.....

If you would have asked me a week ago, I would have said not tailoring as because up until about level 62, I only made myself a couple of things. A bunch of bags, but only a couple of gear pieces. Last night I made an almost complete set of the netherweave vestments and I couldn't be happier. Even considering that outlands quest rewards and drops are awesome, this set is pretty damn good. I even read a couple of posts from 70's saying that they still can't find much better than the bracers and the belt.

Go for tailoring. It pays off in the end. Especially when you get to the end game.

If you have the cash, then go for both. That way when you hit 70 you can get full epic crafted gear from your professions.

You shouldn't call people names if you don't know what they mean.

Furthermore, to the IM-speaking original poster. You should take skinning and either mining or herbalism until you are level 60. If you get to level 60 and are still motivated to get to 70, then you will have a good amount of gold to power level tailoring once you get closer to being able to use it.

Holy **** guys.

It's actually less effort to help him than to bash him like you have been doing.

Jesus christ, unbelievable.

If you think you will use all of the eng. goodies I'd say go with eng. and stick with it. If not go with tailoring. Mining is a skill that takes patience...but definitely worth the time to skillup.

I personally am on a PvP server and went eng. but I've never used any of the goodies that eng. offers so far.

bleh, it's a personal choice imo.

He is not dumb, and you can't *speak* on forums...what does that make you?

I'm no genius myself and I understood him completely. Some of you need to get a hold of some Valiums and swallow a couple.

This is the third post this week i've seen from this guy. Its not that hard to at least use a comma every now and then. Just have a tiny bit of respect for your own language, that's all i'm saying. You don't need perfect grammer, just at least make an attempt to not look stupid. How long does it take to type two letters, rlly, i mean really?

About .2 seconds.

How long does it take to have manners and refrain from calling someone a dumbass?

About 0 seconds.

Take a look at this:

Someone using slang english is in a shopping mall and is trying to purchase something and asks a couple of people around him for advice, but one of them walks up to him and simply calls him a dumbass just because he did not speak perfect english...Would you call the one doing the shopping the dumbass?

I'm sure you would...

IRL the guy who would have walked up to the guy and had to balls to call him a dumbass would have had the pleasure of knowing me in the most personal way...if you know what I mean...especially since they would deserve worst.

I tolerate people who are stupid and/or dumb, but I don't tolerate people who are ill mannered.

If you are willing to take 2 seconds to type 2 letters, you should be willing to have manners - that takes no effort.

How could someone possibly deserve worse than having sex with you?!

Ha..

Ha.

Ok, seriously though. In real life, people don't talk like that. People don't talk without pauses where punctuation would be; you don't need to take the time to punctuate yourself when you speak. If someone speaks informally, or with slang, its probably because they're uncultured or not so intelligent. When someone types some mess like that, with no punctuation and fragments of words, its not because they're too stupid to realize how to spell those words or how to use commas. They're just lazy.

You have just proved my point, you are a tool.

If you don't understand the meaning of the word 'tool' in this context, then you are not so intelligent.

Don't abuse people on forums if you can't handle it yourself.

You are pretty damn judgmental...because someone writes with bad grammar - they are lazy. Because they talk with slang - they are uncultured or not so intelligent. Nice! You realize you have just insulted about 5 billion people by saying this?

You are a ******* tool indeed.

Keep talking - you just prove my point the more you do.

Your level of intelligence seems to be pretty damn high if you can come up with things like:

You are special.

Alright, I give up. Everyone can sound like as big of an uneducated moron as they like. People that type big blocks of text out with absolutely no punctuation at are are not lazy, they just don't have a clue in the world how to form a sentence (even though that same guy just made another post in the Pally forum which was much more readible). People that talk with severe informal slang also choose to speak this way, its not that they just haven't been brought up to speak properly.

Both of you bloodhounds are right, i'm really sorry.

Oh, and by the way, the definition of a tool is someone who is being manipulated by someone else and being used by that person without knowing it. Like I said, I think for myself. That doesn't make any sense. But hey, if you're right and I am a tool, then its not my fault. I'm being manipulated! How can you blame me for my actions any more than you'd blame the poor guy with horrible grammar or the guy who can't speak correctly?

just take two gathering professions until you hit 70 and have a lot of money to powerlevel tailoring from 1-375.

I love enigneering I am going to go gnomish to get me a deathray, and maybe the battle chicken, then drop "neering" and take it back up for goblin. If you notice.... deathray is BoP but does not require gnomish. Yeah its a long way to get a silly trinket, but I am insane.

WOW

Back from holidays in country where people finally speak the language I can understand completely (not English), happy to see you all well and in good health, so I wont contribute anything to this funny thread...... just saying hi to everyone.

Now I can take mentioned Valium and go clean the house - 2 weeks of dead flies, dust and stuff forgotten in my fridge suddenly seem to be much more important than WoW or illiterate forum writers.
