This seems pretty basic... but do damage trinkets affect Ice barrier?
And if it does, if i pop a trinket while Ice Barrier is up, does it renew whatever fraction of damage is added to the shields damage absorbed?

I believe it does make a difference as at once point there was an issue with if you used a trink then cast that if you tried to recast ice barrier it would say "a more powerful spell is already in effect" (if trink has rune out and no damage taken). This would suggest it has an effect.
