I don't know if someone's asked this before, but I'm curious:
How come Remoresless Attacks were skipped in the talent progression past 30?
It seems like a great skill to have, and it makes grinding even easier.
Would it be wise to put a couple points there before going into the Sword Specialization talent?
Which would bring something down faster?

Good question. Basically, Sword Spec, Blade Flurry and Adrenaline Rush are the best grinding talents there are, period. Remorseless is good, but getting to the high end Combat tiers is better. 40% increased crit on one attack every fight isn't all that substantial, but adding 5% of your main hand weapon's damage to every attack is. Increasing your damage output by 120% for 15 seconds every 2 minutes is too, and double energy regeneration is as well.

Yeah, I kind of thought about it that way, but I wasn't completely sure. Thanks.

And, by the way, you've got some great guides goin' on.
I've been reffering to them for a while. :)

are you suppose to be duelweilding swords or using 1 dagger and 1 sword

Its your call, just make sure whichever one (usually the slower sword/mace/dagger) hits harder is in your main hand and a faster one in your offhand.

Hey nooble, love the rogue guide. Its taken me through to level 30 very nicely!

One question though; once i reached level 30 I carried out the re-spec you recommended and found that I was missing one talent point.

I re-allocated my talent points as follows:
Improved gouge: 3/3
Improved sinister strike: 2/2
Deflection: 5/5
Riposte: 1/1
Precision: 5/5
Dual wield specialisation: 4/5
Blade flurry: 1/1

I elected to get 4/5 Dual wield specialisation, so i could grab blade flurry.
It seems that at level 30 you have 21 talent points, and to complete the combat re-spec as mentioned in the guide 22 talent points are needed.

Im really happy with the new combat build: its versatile and powerful. I just wanted to see if i had missed something, or if this might be a useful addition to the guide! menwhile I think I will chuck my level 31 talent point into dual wield, then continue with your advice :-)

Thanks for all the help!

Oh yeah, one more thing: it wont be long now before i approach level 40 - do you have any tips on what talents you would choose after that?

love your work!

A few months ago when I started my rogue alt, coming from a mage main and knowing nothing about melee, I thought that the number under "Speed" shows how high the speed of the weapon is >_> I did get it right at some point after reading guides and weapon comments and seeing that something didnt click right.
*sigh, ah, neeewbness

Good guide just wondering.

Remorseless Attacks

This only works if you kill the opposite faction... right?

Remorseless is extremely conditional. Unless you plan on doing nothing but high-speed grinding, those two points are better off being spent elsewhere.

I have to say this about Remorseless though, it is a great psychological motivator to keep mob-grinding and minimize downtime. That adds up after a while from lvl 20-70.
