Neither are my goggles. Presumably because only a small percentage of Hunters can use them as they're dependant on a particular profession.

Incidently, if Blizz ever hade Ebon Netherscale BoE, you'd make a killing.

Aethien... you have failed!
No, i havent, and i think i explained at least 2 or 3 times why i didnt include BoP patterns in my list.
Simply because they take a large amount of effort and money to attain.
Because for those boots, if you add the costs for the mats they are easely 1500+g and that's not counting the cost to raise leatherworking up to 375 (wich also costs several thousand gold) Plus the fact that other hunters might need to give up another profession to get leatherworking it just is insanely hard to get compared to running an (heroic) instance ~5 times.

edit: and as far as i know, there isnt a section for BoP craftable patterns in my list. (and if you have one, i expect anyone with a brain larger then that of a bug to understand that that epic is good enough for karazhan...)

edit 2: added in 2 (very expensive) crafted epics.

Should put Surestrike goggles on list, there are quite a few hunters who may actually lvl up eng solely to make goggles. 350 eng isn't that bad to get, 350+ is where it get really expensive. The goggles themselves are better than T3. They are in between t3-t4 so 3.5 ;p

Also they are pretty cheap too make, I mean you pay like 200g in AH or so to make them and a primal nether(easy to get now). Or you could just easily use your own mats. For a better then t3 helm. Sign me up!

Just put Engineering only next to them. Same for LWs, so people know ahead of time what to shoot for.

Same goes for the goggles, leveling Engi up to 350 easely costs a few thousand gold and another bunch for the goggles themselves.
Not to mention possibly having to give up a money making proffession for one you absolutely cant make any cash with. (goes for both LW and Eng)

Hey Aethien, I just read your "cookie cutter raid builds" and would have to argue a point, my spec was defined as a cookie cutter raid build, yet I see some funky one under MM. I even have a thread somewere were people were telling me Imp AotH was useless, and for raiding since the pet is dead half the time Focused Fire ain't that great.

Just sayin'

Imp AotH is calculated to be a ~6% dps increase i think, thats more then a lot of other talents give you.
And focused fire is a 2% dps increase as long as your pet lives, and any hunter who cant keep his pet alive for the majority of the fight is doing something wrong. (seriously, how hard is it to push [ctrl+2] whenever melee has to run, [ctrl+1] when melee can go back in and press mend pet if your pet is taking damage?)
That MM build is purely focused on Damage and not on anything else, though 0/43/18 is solid too its lower on dps, guess i'll add in 0/43/18 too for good measure.

Hi,

I just wanted to post on my progress. I am sitting at 1626 AP now with AoTH and I am still in the process of regemming so I should be getting closer to that magic 1700 pretty soon. Thanks for this post and all your help.

I was wondering what you all thought of the Storm Helm? To be honest, it's probably not a big upgrade but it looks so much better than the Earthwarden's Coif. :P

according to the armory, Storm helm would be a downgrade =P

Although i think that armory rates things very crooked.

Shouldn't this post be cleaned up a bit and made into a Sticky?

'/cast reset=15 Mend Pet'
Select the question mark as the icon and you will not be able to cast overlapping mend pets and also you'll be abl to see clearly when Mend pet has run out.

you mean cleaned up as in remove all replies or clean up as in improve the list?
If its the second please say what needs improvement (besides correcting the 2 links in the list...)

edit: updated/fixed some things in the list.

wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=32658&locale=enUS;source=live - would the badge be any good? it is like 150AP + the rest of agi bonuses, but is it really worth it?

EDIT: i just seem to miss all the tags interactons :/

For a survival hunter, yeah its worth it.
Not so much for a MM or BM hunter.

Though if you have one, your guilds feral druids/prot warriors will kill you ;)

I don't much care for gear without any passive stats. If it was used every time the cooldown was up it comes out to about 25 agi on a constant basis? Not worth it in my oppinion.

150 x 1.15 = 172.5 agi.
172.5 x 0.25 = 43.125 AP extra on Expose Weakness.
Using it at the start of combat thus gives all your physical damage dealing raidmembers 43 extra attack power for the duration of the fight.

So for SV hunters in 25-man raids its pretty damn good.
else, not so much.

Bumping posts is a good way to **** off alot of posters, no matter the quality of the post. Especially if you don't contribute to it. Refrain from this in the future.
