Heres the names of all the pets i've had and currently have:

- Broken Tooth ( B.T )
- Shir'khan ( King Bang )
If you notice two of them are from disney movies I grew up with and love, Scar of course from The Lion King And Shir'Khan fom the Jungle Book. Porky I just thought was a cute name for my boar.

on my alliance hunter alt, got echeyakee and named him ImWithStupid
My pet's name is Aslan (lion from Chronicles of Narnia.)
My pets name is garoc, which is my name backwards. When I originally started on another server my guy's name was Kevindy so I named my pet Petindy. Thinking ImWithStupid is gonna be next up....

I have an owl now named Shrike.

Whats up with A lot of people wanting to name or have named there pet imwithstupid. I don't get it, but whatever people will do what they want.

I stupidly dismissed my Moonstalker runt that had been my faithful companion for 10 levels and was named Grimalkin. The reason I did this was I went to tame a Ghost Saber and realized that I needed a pet to deal with the naga around the area first. So, I dismissed Grimmy...so that I could get a "throw-away" pet for a few minutes. Smart huh? NOT. Poor Grimmy....he was very loyal. Ah well, I did get my Ghost Saber after 4 figurines, and tamed her on the first try. She is now called ShadowFang and is a very dear friend...although I still kick myself for not stabling Grimmy first....
Update:
I got Grimalkin back! That teaches me to read the forums...the thread on stabled pets caught my eye, and I logged in and tried it, and poof! There he was! I'm so happy! I had checked the stable, but it hadn't shown him so I figured I only had Shadow...but when I actually moved her into the stable, Grimmy showed up. So although I wouldn't risk trying this again (ie: dismissing vs stabling), if anyone else has done this and misses their pet...try the stable and move them around.

my 64 hunter's ravager is called ppeapleeater. Can't put spaces and have a length limitation. It stands for purple people eater if you can't figure that out. :) Obviously, it's a purple ravager.
My level 10 troll hunter's ravager is named spike. It' an orange/red one. I was thinking about naming him orange crush, but ravagers don't really crush, they gore.

On my NE I got a Nightsaber Stalker called Fangy.

I have had several Wind Serpents named 'Spark', except for the blue one named 'Sapphire', to be released soon; my bear was called 'Grommer' ('Growler', in Dutch), and my wolf (Ironjaw) is called 'Snarl', because I have an addon that has your pet make a sound when it is getting hungry, and he was famished when I'd just tamed him, so he was snarling a lot. :-)

Currently, I've got King Bang and named him Clawdythiir. I also just recently tamed a scorpion from shadowmoon valley, which I named Scorpinok in homage to the upcoming Transformers movie.
So far, I've released 3 other cats into the wild: Slydithiir, Pantithiir, and Tigithiir.
Yeah. They names all ring true to a naming convention...one that just plain sounds elvish to me....
