nice list, just a question if you will be adding in other tips or if you plan to keep it a strictly gearlist.
Because i did the same for hunters only more for people who plan to start raiding and i included a load of tips, tricks and macro's for that. (see link in sig)
And i would love to see that for shamans too since i will be starting raiding with my shaman once she reaches a decent lvl of gear.

I just have to bump this, the best shaman post I've ever seen on these forums I think. and its been almost 6 months since the last post a shame if this gets lost.
