GrandInvictu: I use Exe every time I'm fighting MORE than one mob. It lets me finish off one guy quickly and it gives me rage for the next battle.

tehOPEologist: AM increases you rage gen more than 5 pts in UW would, while 2h:ing that is. It's well-worth to spec since it's such a pain to find yourself rage-starved.

Execute gives you rage?

You build rage of on the second mob (the one you didn't execute). I've been bugged several times that the first mob just doesn't want to die... When he's at 5% he seems to get +25% aviodance. So I finish him off to save time (while eating afterwards).

This is how I fight tho. I'm not impliementing that you should do the same.

Of course not, but don't you think you could be more efficient by instead of executing the 1st one to save that rage and use it for offensive attacks on the 2nd one? Instead of having to re-build your rage. I get alot of rage fast mainly b/c I am fury daggers, So I get burst dmg, but still rage is my lifeblood.

Yeh, I posted the reason for me wanting to Execute: Mobs seem to hate me past 5% health :( I sit there and think: Hm... I've missed 5 times in a row now... should I Execute? Nah, he's at 5%. He'll die soon enough.

The I miss 3 times more and he dies. xD

EDIT: Let's just say me and Spelling had a fight and Spelling won :(

if you have a big 2H and carry rage to start the next fight, you can charge, pull another mob, and pop sweeping strikes.

And spasm cleave <3 :p
#35 Feb 08 2007 at 7:04 PM Rating: Good
I almost never Execute, only do when I know I'll be eating or really need to finish off the mob A.S.A.P.

Sweeping Strikes owns souls, and Imp Disciplines is just great. With Retaliation/Sweeping/Cleave I can usually kill 4-5 mobs w/o needing to pop a pot. Just make sure you Demo shout first XD

I've tried DW/Fury, it had it's moments, but seemed to have less "Oh crap" options. Maybe it was because I was lower level, don't know, but with my Arm's build now unless I get more than 3 mobs I just sigh because I'll need to use a big bandaid instead of a minor one.

Don't know if it was mentioned here, but using bloodrage solo is just begging for downtime. Yes, you get more rage, but unless you have crappy armor you would take less damage fighting for 2 secs longer because you need 1 more hit to kill them. There are prolly gonna be those who disagree, but I'd rather be killing than eating/bandaging.

Also, when grinding, find mobs that "help" you. Example are the Yeti in Winterspring, they almost always cast a 2 sec freeze that triggers Second Wind. So they heal you 10% and give you about 30 rage for not swinging for 2 secs, which when using a 2 hander is nothing. I was able to grind about 5-8 mobs per bandaid doing this instead of 3-5.

My Improved Disciplines are accessible at 25 Arms talent points...according to your outline, that's level 36, but I've only spent 19 in Arms so far if I go exactly according to the outline. Help!

It's avalable to you at lvl 35, but he chose to max out the weapon spec (to make up for Cruelty?) to he just takes it 1 lvl later.

Edit: He's mad at you for whaaa? Getting the warrior FAQ stickied? Why the hell shouldn't it be? ^^

Axhead, I like the build with an emphasis on arms, but a lot of people disagree with the high arms talent build. Why, you think? Most people prefer more fury or mostly fury...maybe for PvP playing more?

Its a decent guide particularly while going from 10-60.

I personally think you cant tank without getting defiance which means 15 points in prot. You struggle to hold aggro without defiance particularly when tanking with DPS guys who are a higher level then you.

If this is purely a grinding guide then take out the three points in thunderclap. If this is a levelling guide then you would be selling yourself short by not running instances in terms of rep and rewards. You would struggle to do so without defiance - and I doubt many people will take u on a run as a MS DPS.

although Im a noob to the warrior class, I have to disagree, based on my experiences on my main and what other people have told me. Pretty much any build should be able to tank the 5 man content, especially at the lower levels. And the best warrior in the world is going to have trouble holding aggro if he is grouped with some DPS class noobs who dont understand aggro mechanics.

In my experience you are wrong. The healer will take aggro off you and rogues etc. will peel aggro off you too. There is nothing more emasculating then not being able to hold aggro.

A paladin and druid will produce more aggro then you too. The extra 15% makes a difference.
