Generally, I name my pets in Polish, to fit my hunter's name, which is also Polish :)
My hunter's name is Pokrak (Gimp in English, as the Pulp Fiction Gimp[FTW!]), so my pets also have weird names...
Active scorpid is named Otwieracz, what means 'can opener' due to his claws :D
My /flex lvl70 Humar is called Ogryzek (apple core, but in Polish it has a little word play in it, as it may mean 'the one that chews/bites'), and my (recently abandoned) black boar was called Ptysio, what can be roughly translated as Honey-Bunny ;]
If the incoming patch nerfs scorpid poison also in pve (and I heard both answers) I'll probably tame a rotting boar from plaguelands and name it somewhere along the lines of Scierwo (Carcass) or Smierdziel (Stinker) :)
And on top of that, my guildmaster's name is Parowka (Wiener-sausage) :D He's also kind-of mt\y pet, as I talked him into starting playing ;P
