So as an arcane/fire mage I cannot AoE, or not so good as Frost therefore I better not bother?

Now that my toon's a big girl now (read: lvl 70), here's a tidbit for you AoEers in Outlands: Vultures outside Temple of Telhamat, lvls 60-61.

I ground out 59-67 in Outlands completely on vultures outside the Temple of Telhamat, HP. There's 3 gathers there (5 if you travel ESE 40secs towards the Stadium, and 30secs SW towards Cenarion Post) - by the 4th gather, the 1st gather has generally reset. Sure, I was sick of vultures by 67 (one day I'll figure out how many I slew), but it was fast. Post 67, respecced fire and quested the rest out...

Enjoy your Buzzard bites!

Ahhh now LOST RIGGER COVE is where its at. On my server not many people grind this area. I catagorized the area into 5 pulls, will last me until 52. At level 51 im able to grind 40k/hr.

(Level: 41-47) Green Sludges (Hinterlands) http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/map.htm...zoneid=2020

(Level: 41-48) Dark Iron Dwarves [Various Locations] (Searing Gorge) http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/map.htm...zoneid=2015

Ooooo I'd forgotten those. My mage did 57-59 on the buzzards south east of honour hold, but I found the groupings weren't set out very well for gathering lots (also seems to be bot infested) and of course hill's don't do all that much for my blizzard targeting abilities (which aren't that great to start with - I've been known to cast it behind myself be mistake).

Now that I'm 59, so shouldn't get too many resists there, I might head along to that point and try my luck. How you can kill vultures for 8 levels I'll never know :)

I'll probably aim for 2-4 levels there (plus some instance runs) and then do some questing or look for a new thing to kill.

As of 2.3 there are no longer the murlocs in Dustwallow, which sucks because that was a great spot. I am lvl 39, what is a good place to do instead?

I ventured out there just to get the FP (my mage is 45) for my shaman... and yeah, the murlocs are gone, BUT they added some undead which I think weren't casters in pretty much the same area? I didn't stop to play with them but just noticed A LOT of changes in Dustwallow. I couldn't find the big raptors... instead lots of the serpentine bird things. Also, a few camps of humanoids that didn't exist before. The Humanoids looked to have casters and ranged so... that's bad, but I think the undead should work well. Also, Dustwallow generally has a high concentration of beasts that you could round up and AOE down.
