Thanks for that banging link. That really really helped. I had completely forgot about the Blazing Emblem! Went out and got the Drakefires today too.

I'm kicking myself for ever selling of the Black DS shoulder and leggings.

I would just like to ask one more question about how many pets you can have...

I have heard of people with 30+ pets, and have seen a blog from a person who has collected nearly every kind of pet. I thought that as long as my pet was not "out" I could tame another, but the game won't let me. How many can I have tamed at one time? Do I have to stable a pet to tame another, and then how do I bring both with me to a new town? Can I have a bunch of pets that I can summon and unsummon, or am I limited to 3?

You are limited to 3. Chances are the pets in question were the non-combat pets. Some people DO have over 30 of those.

Az - a couple of questions I have:

Mana Regeneration: How much should we invest in this?
I have Mana Regen enchant to bracer, there is the Exalted Cenarion Rep axe (Scythe of Unseen Path) with +3/5s, items in the Zandalar set also have mana regeneration. An AQ craftable set of gloves too - restores 8 mana per hit. Do you look at this much?

Again on armor - +to dodge. is it worth having a 'pulling' set of +dodge/stamina. i do recall someone having mentioned this in previous thread so thought i'd ask here. i don't die much in MC any more - although minimising that would be nice (and presumably it would be cheaper to fix than my dps gear :D )

Check out Kaliban's Loot List. Choose Hunter, then select Fire Resist Gear.

Also check the same site, under the Molten Core Loot area there is another FR table. I believe this one includes items that are perhaps raid loot, perhaps high-end craftable, but for some reason are not included in the regular hunter loot list.

2 questions (non-hunter).

1. I am interested in the potion you get, and can later buy, from the Thirsty Goblin Quest, that makes you small. My question is, can you mount and ride while small? Or just fight?

2. I hit Centurion today Smiley: yippee and I after I logged on and saw this, I was very excited. (Thought I was probably one more week away still).

Anyways, I thought wow-reader updated your characters every time you logg on in game? Is this wrong? Or do I have to restart wow reader to get the new rank info on my character?

1) You can mount, ride, fight, whatever you want -- unless you also turned into a skeleton. You can't mount while "shapeshifted." Shrinking is fine, though...

2) You have to run WoWReader, log in, log out, and save data. You can only save info one char at a time.

It's not automatic :P

Bob, I haven't done the math on MP5 myself, but I've seen others work through it. The problem with trying to argue about specifics is that everyone's opinion and style and tactics are different. However, the short version is that it's useful. There's a reason most of the upper end people were happy about all the MP5 and mana conservation effects on the tier 3 armor.

On armor and dodge effects, I'm probably in the minority on this one, but I like them. I have a few pieces of gear I call my tanking gear, which I put on any time I know I'm gonna be in the line of fire. Not sure how much it helps normally, but I survived a situation yesterday with under 100 HP, so that extra stamina apparently did me some good!

Wowreader may or may not auto-update, depending on how you use it. I use it the way you do, Sayis, but I believe most people just have it auto-update.

Got another.

I seem to be on a roll, lol.

Cannot find what thread it was in, but someone mentioned a "accura scope". Is this a new item?

I still have a sniper scope (think its +7 dmg IIRC).

What scope is better, and how is it obtained?

I asked this several months ago, but cannot remeber the answer.....

Biznick's 247x128 Accurascope

It adds +3 hit. You can buy it from an engineer like any other scope, but the pattern itself is far more rare.

If you're deep into endgame raids, get one. If not, the +7 damage is perfectly fine.

Bats have slightly less dps than cats, but more health.

The Bloodseeker is already level 60, BT is down at level 37.

Neither is "better," it just depends on what you prefer, as well as how much effort you want to put into it.

Thank you very much for posting this guide. It made the conversion from Warrior to Hunter much easier.

I'm newbie with Hunter class, i have only one question, why is the Aimed shot not mentioned in any ability list? I know its a talent ability...

Just a bug with Allakhazam, I believe.

Aimed Shot
8-35 Yard range -- 3 sec cast -- 6 sec cooldown

Rank 1 - Level 20
75 Mana
An aimed shot that increases ranged damage by 70.

Rank 2 - Level 28
115 Mana
An aimed shot that increases ranged damage by 125.

Rank 3 - Level 36
160 Mana
An aimed shot that increases ranged damage by 200.

Rank 4 - Level 44
210 Mana
An aimed shot that increases ranged damage by 330.

Rank 5 - Level 52
260 Mana
An aimed shot that increases ranged damage by 460.

Rank 6 - Level 60
310 Mana
An aimed shot that increases ranged damage by 600.

Many of the class lists do not mention the talent-based abilities. I'm not entirely sure why, and this is something I'm hoping to address at some point, but I think it's beyond my access.

Thank you for this thread.

I have a Nightsaber Stalker (Akasha) currantly at lvl 25 with Bite & claw 2, I am a lvl 26 Night Elf. I went to Duskwood and tamed a lvl 25 Black Ravager for bite 4 As is discribed on Petopia. While the Black Ravager has bite 4 after 20 somthing kills I still have not learned the skill to teach my beloved Cat. 1.Did I make a mistake in jumping a Bite Rank or is this just taking longer than expected?
2. Should I go and get a bite 3 pet first then return?
3. Can you skip ability ranks?

You can skip ability ranks.

Sometimes abilities just take longer to learn. Calabar suggests standing closer to your pet when it fights in order to learn new abilities sooner.
