This is a great guide and I'll get on with reading it as soon as i have time but currently I have just one question so I can continue playing:)

I'm a level 14 dwarf hunter, pet level 13. I've spent 2 of my talent points. I put them in Improved CS and Lethal shots. So my question is how should I continue spending talent points if my final goal is to be good at solo?

EDIT:

Well managed to read the guide and decided I'll go with a more or less BM build. So if you can describe some of these builds (meaning for what should I spend my talent points) as the links dont work anymore.

Quote:
31/20/0: This is another extremely high damage build, perhaps the highest, but relies on the pet for much of it. Your pet is an absolute monster and you can back it up with some decent burst damage.

31/0/20: With Intimidation providing an alternative to Scatter Shot, some beast masters have considered foregoing marksmanship altogether. This allows them to survive a bit longer while their pet is chewing on someone.

21/21/0: 9 points unspent to place where you like. I'm probably the only person who doesn't plan my builds around Scatter Shot and Intimidation. This build uses both.

Very accurrate, though I'll have to say for the part that you type "There is'nt a best hunter race" I'm gonna' tell you that there are two that tie. The Troll is the best for high hits and Marksmanship ( Offense ) and the Orc is the best for Protection and Beast Mastery. Sorry if you are one of those people who strictly stick to the alliance or is on a PvP Realm and has has alliance. =\

Also, I personally chose Troll for Hunter. ;)

There is no best race. Each has advantages and disadvantages.

Some may be better in limited situations, but overall there is no clearcut best. If there were, then you'd clearly see a trend where the one race performs better than the others.

If you are into super hardcore raiding and want to maximize your character as much as you can, i'd say Orcs are the best.
But the difference is small enough to not be important, even at Nihilum levels of raiding it wont make or break you.

And the talent discussion is completely out of date, and pets DO NOT GET MOVEMENT SPEED OR ATTACK SPEED BONUSES ANY MORE.

1/10.
