I was just wondering about orbs. I have yet to buy the game, but want to know if they are considered weapons. Can they be equipped with anything else like spellstones or wands?

Orbs are considerd off hand items, you cant attack with them and you cant use a spellstone and an orb sorry. You can always use a wand but the stone of fire will not add dmg to it
