- Where can i get my train for poisons???
Where can i get my train for poisons???Follow

I'm a level 21 rogue.. and i have failed to find the quest or the trainer to give me my poison skill slot. I know i can get trained from a trianer at 20.. but it tells me i can't get my poisons ability till i get my poison skill up to 120.. I'm a human rogue so if anyone has any insight please help.

You'll need to head back to Stormwind. Once there find a guard, ask for Rogue trainer. He should send you to Old Town. Once at the trainer continue past him to the buildings inside. Go up stairs, there will be a quest for you from Mathias (sp?) Take that. He wants you to go talk to a person in Westfall.
To get to Westfall fall run out of the Stormwind main gate and hang a right. Continue to follow around till you open up Westfall, you will cross over a river. Once in Westfall, follow the river south- it should be on your left side (the river that is.) Your looking for a woman crouched on the ground. She is hidden. Start looking for her once you pass the covered bridge. Complete first part of quest.
The follow on quest is a bugger. You will need to have trained in Vanish at lvl 22 to have any chance at succeeding, or at least this is the only way I could do it. She wants you to steal the from the Malformed Defias person... ok watch his pathing, make sure the four other goons wandering around the tower are gone, sneak up...cast vanish...pickpoket...run like the wind away! No you have your key and two choices. 1.) Gather your friends and raid the tower. Suggest lvl 22 to 30 and a full group if you doing it this way. 2.) Take a swig for some liquid curage and try and sneak all the way up the tower and survive. IF you did survive the trip up the tower (You can do this by using the Distract abaility -yes it does work) the chest is behind a lvl 27 elite, use distract on him... get your journal and how you get out from here is your choice... I jumped down all "Hail Mary" like and died at the doorway, but was able to resurrect outside the tower and run back to Stormwind without further incident.
Once you are back in Stormwind, return to Mathias... you will have gotten a reciepe for a rogue only drink and now you can train Posions up to 125.
He wants you to see the Doc, He is in the same building. Head down stairs and talk to him. Follow his prompts, you will have to collect Simple Wildflowers, Bronze Tubing, Leaded Vial and something else.
I will update when I find out how to get it higher.

EDIT 1:) There is a gryphon master in Westfall, remember to pick up that jump point. Also you can pick up a cool face mask from the Defias Rogues there is Westfall. :P

I did this quest at level 20, it was pretty hard, but far from impossible.
The hardest part was probably stealing the key from the guard, I got lucky and received it on my 2nd try, however other people I helped took nearly 10 tries to grab it.
Once you are inside the tower, the two female scounts on the stairs can be killed instantly with a garrote or a backstab (It's not too hard to avoid them either).
Once you get to the part with the two guards walking side by side, just wait for them to pass you, and slowly walk behind them until you reach the next set of stairs.
Once you hit Klaven, use distract to make him turn away, and then hit him with a sap. You now have a solid 25 seconds to open the chest, and escape. Grab the key out of the chest, hit sprint and get out of there.

How about the Horde side of things for getting Poison? Anyone have a list of the Quests in the order they need to be done to obtain Poison ability?
I think I'm on the right track, but there's precious little information on the Horde side of things...! Thnxs...

talk to the head rogue in Orgimmar and do the stating
.. salute quest ..
He then sends you to .. talk to and opperative in the field .. and you get a niffty flare gun. The opperative gives you info and sets up the rest of the quest.
You then need to kill 5 or 7 guys and pickpocket another.
Take all of that back to the head guy in Orgimmar and he sends you too undead land. When you complete the undead portion of things you get your poison.
I was 25 and had the help of another rogue before finishing the kill the 7 guys part of things. The rest is cake.

I did this quest just after I turned 20 with the help of my husband's 22 Pally. For the guard tower, we found a few things that made it a bit easier. When you first enter Westfall, follow the path straight south to Sentinel Hill - the quest info says the abandoned guard tower with the chest is southeast of Sentinel Hill. At Sentinel Hill set a course straight southeast (I believe it's east vs. west just follow what the quest states - you will be headed away from the ocean coast) you will pass the gryphon master first (get your flight path), then an old farm - keep running and you will see the guard tower. The woman you are looking for will be easy to spot crouched on the left of the tower near the river. Her yellow question mark will be easy to see.
Outside the tower there will be two pairs of undeads and the one single undead that you need to pickpocket the key from. We started on the left side of the tower near the tents and took out the first pair and headed around the back for the second pair. The single key-holder attacked as we were taking out the second pair and we killed him. He did respawn fairly quickly - 1-2 min. but the pairs did not. I went on Stealth and pickpocketed the key from him and we killed him again.
Inside the tower you will encounter a single defender on one floor and a pair of them the next floor up. Those three we easily rushed and took out. On the top floor will be the one mob (name?) whose journal you need out of the chest. If you are across the circular room from him, the chest is to the left of him. We tried rushing him but did not make a dent. We were able to rez and rebuff across the room from him. I went on Stealth and got over to the chest with my lockpick ready. My husband's Pally ran in and hit him once to gain agro. He then ran around the circle (with the mob attacking him) to keep the mob busy while I picked the lock and grabbed the journal. Once I got it we jumped down the stairs and out the door.
