Want to do it right from the startFollow

#1 May 24 2013 at 11:25 AM Rating: Decent
So; I am a longtime player of the FF Series dating back to Nintendo....I got into FFXI last year WAY late obviously but due to a PS3 friend convincing me it was still active, fun, and that I would be able to play tons with him and his LS.

So; for the past year I have been playing FFXI and enjoying it very much however; I am at L70 and both my buddy and the majority of the LS either are no longer playing or not interested in helping a L70 noob anymore since they are all L99....very frustrating.

Anyway; I pre-ordered FFXIV CE for PC and cannot wait but; I want to join a LS from the start so I can live the game as many of you did when FFXI launched ages ago....I am a casual gamer that can play 0-20 hours per week depending on work/family obligations.

I look forward to the responses/possibilities!

Hi, well I'm a veteran player for FFXIV. There are few things that you need to know more than anything if you still don't know about the servers and how it could affect you. If you are interested and have mumble, I can chat with you about it. Is way too long but I don't mind taking my time to explain it ^^.

I was a noob and I know how it feels. This is one of the reason why we encourage new players to join us. We have good and high level players in our LS that don't mind a bit on helping or answering your questions.

But guess what? We will be all be noobs at ARR now lol so no worries. Yes some will still be high level but we got new players too. My LS is open to anyone, new players and old players the same. We will be choosing a USA based server and our events time are based on NA time zones. Because a few of us, including all officers, are legacy we will have to choose an old server and not a new one. I can explain to you what does that mean if you want through mumble or here.

If you are interested, here is my recruitment post link http://ffxiv.zam.com/forum.html?forum=238&mid=1367203463284096803

Also you can pm me or contact me through my profile if you have any questions http://rendezvous-zone.enjin.com/profile/254367

Now if you belong to the EU zone then you might be interested in this other nice LS based on EU time :) http://ffxiv.zam.com/forum.html?forum=238&mid=1367178167278834696

Hope this helps :)

Hi :). Mumble is a voice chat program. Is pretty much like Ventrilo, TeamSpeak or Raidcall among many. These are used for chating with other players. ^^

Our clock time is based on EST for reference as well but we do have members from other NA time zones like CST for example.
