Hello everyone. this is my first time posting in these forums
I have just recently returned to FFXIV after all the recent patches (last time i logged in auto-attack didnt exist) . I am an ex FFXI veteran.
I have nothing to say but good things so far , however I am feeling a little lonely lol.
I was in an LS but its no longer active.
So now i am looking for a fairly active LS for social or otherwise.
Are there any around Balmung that are recruiting which are fairly active?

Hey there Khovan!
Before you get your hopes up, I'm just posting to say I'm in the same boat as you. =( I'm starting to feel like I know what I'm doing (uhoh!) and now its kinda lonely. I've gotten Pugilist to 16, Conjurer to 14, and Thaumaturgist to 10. I was going to go for Monk, but with my brother deciding he will play as well, I decided to switch my goals to either BLM or WHM.
I'm not sure how to find a linkshell either though. The spam in Ul'dah seems to be for parties only, and I certainly don't want to spam a chat channel looking for an LS, seems rude. Hopefully someone replies here, but if not, maybe we can hookup in game and group at some point for quests / xp / chocobos / grand company / a bunch of other things neither of us knows how to do =P. My character's name is Liliana Vess, and I am available to play most nights except Tuesdays and Thursdays (WoW raids). I have a vent server as well, or we can just type if you prefer.

Mind if I add my own search for a LS to this thread as well? Pretty much the same situation as Khovan, 5 year veteran of FFXI, tried out FFXIV when it first came out and returned last week to see how things are going. I'm enjoying myself so far and plan on staying till at least the 2.0 change and hopefully much much longer.
Characters name is Theden Meviont (2 of my mules from FFXI heh~) an 18 conjurer/12 Botanist with several level crafts.

gonna bump this up again by adding my own search came back last month no activity in current ls need new one currently have 46brd/arc and 48crp ...gf is looking to join one as well with a 50mnk/pug and 50leather hit us up in game on varity of times. im fox longstirde and shes huggles snuggles... thanks
